Mary-Sue

As true as that is, Gatekpr, I did not intend for this to be taken too seriously. More or less, it was just something for people to look into. I've no idea who worked on this, but it doesn't mean their word is RP law. That's what GURPS is for. ;)

Not to mention, if your character bears waaaaay too many special abilities that's a stretch even for the character, you'd be more aware of it after looking at this. Casting magic or using another entity or being a hybrid of human and another species (as long as you explain why that is) is all right. Having, saaay...a flying demonic necromancer who is also a shadow elemental and is able to weild six heavy weapons at once yet appears completely human is more or less ridiculous. (No, I'm not accusing anyone since there is no such character bio on here, but you get the idea.)

Hell, you saw how high Shenorai scored (and that was just for the Shenorai half of my bio...I didn't touch too much on Leondra). And apparently, according to others, she's no Mary-Sue. (A good portion of the score comes from me using the same name as my character and the fact that my character's a female that does the job she does. This thing could be sexist for all we know. XD)

SO.

This was just something to take lightly.

Yeah, I know, but I'm just saying. Bad test ;P

Still, he only really has 3 powers, being mind powers (seeing as they seperated it into telepathy, telekinesis and one other thing, that's 3 points), general magic (though his is more limited than that), and invulnerability (though not really, as it's not really a power and he's not truly invulnerable).

I'm going to make this test with one of my characters I think will score lowest and see how things turn up. Just in advance it's just a man with a sword and some skill in using it.

EDIT:
The results are:
1 point for above average intelligence. Only because I am above average (at least that’s what my psychologists tests results were) so I find it hard to play ‘stupid’ (usually that means I’m doing stupid things on purpose)

1 point for speaking more then 2 languages. As far as I concern he speaks English, German, Arabic and Chinese.

1 point for travelling a lot.

I would almost give 2 points for being educated but then I realised that educated was something different from literate. He doesn’t have a broad education. So no points there.

Substract 3 points for loosing from an equal or lesser opponent. Though it was a close call I lost an RPB with Dalandis against someone with similar abilities to Dalandis.

2 points for being amongst the best of swordsmen. Spending over 30 years to master swordsmanship in various parts of the world does this too a character.

1 point for sharing one of my hobby’s I’ll admit I’m fascinated by swords.

1 point for being a mercenary. Even swordsmen need to make a living.

1 Point for being at a historical event. To be exact the battle of Lechfeld in 955.

And that’s it. I was doubting about the last question about whether I would like to be like my character but I couldn’t live in the year 955. No internet would kill me.

And that adds up to 5 points I believe making him an anti sue. I say he's an almost realistic character considering the setting (having him travel a lot is most likely the one thing that's unrealistic)
