Mana Series Discussion Time!

So.


Has anyone here ever played Secret of Mana or Seiken Densetsu 3 (Aka, Secret of Mana 2?) Right now I'm playing through SoM2 on my Ouya and I'm loving every second of it.

My main character was the thief named Hawk, who I named Bane.

My first partner is Duran, who I named Dante.

And finally, my second partner was the half-human and half-beastman, Kevin, who I decided to name Kira.


So far, the game has been a blast and I'm off to go find the Mana Spirit of Wind. Has anyone ever played the first game or the fan-translation of the second?

I played a few of the Mana games.

I played the one that was "Final Fantasy Adventure" back on the Gameboy. Then I played Secret of Mana, Sword of Mana, and Legend of Mana.

From these games I have to say that they are very good, if you don't mind a very loose story.

What i mean by that is that is the story is told, but there are so many things that get you side track that it is sometimes hard to remember what you are suppose to do.

Overall I do like the series and I hope Square doesn't kill the series like they did with with a few other series

I really like Mana series!
However, I only played Heroes of Mana (it was my first JRPG ever xD) on NDS, but it was great! I started playing Children of Mana on NDS, too, but didn't have time and stopped playing. But nowadays I'm thinking about starting playing with it again. C,,:
