Why, hello there :wacky:

Right. I don't really have much of a technological genius in me, I suppose... But this problem's pretty simple... I guess?

Okay, what I want is to be able to use the WYSIWYG functionalities while browsing, yeah? Like here in this forums. If we tick that option, we are actually able to work with the color changes, and all, no? Literally, what you see is what you get.

However, this only works on Firefox... Internet Explorer too. >.>

Now, don't tell me to go use Firefox. I just want to see a different interface for a change sometimes, and it doesn't help that the WYSIWYG functionalities do not work on other browsers, for reasons I can't seem to understand.

Does anyone have a clue? So far, the ones that do not work, and I've tried... Safari, Chrome and Opera. Is there some kind of setting that I must change?

these WYSIWYG editors are usually javascript based which spells bad news for cross browser compatibility. ive never tried the site on anything but firefox though so its never been an issue for me.

usually the problems would lie with internet explorer but if youre saying its not working with safari and chrome then im not sure. ive just checked now and i see what you mean. just one of the downsides of javascript i spose.:sad3:
