Making happy meals illegal

That's really a silly way for them to look at it.

They always ruin everything for the ones who do the right thing. =/

How is it fair that a family who rarely ever goes to Macca's or KFC etc should be robbed of this simple little pleasure?

The kids that never get to go out to dinner appreciate the outing and get excited when they get a toy and have an awesome night out.

It's ridiculous that they would even consider this.

It's not going to stop stupid parents from feeding their kids garbage anyway.

If a parent really has no time to cook food for their kids they will find some other fast food outlet or even still go to Macca's regardless of whether there's a toy included or not.

In fact, the parents may even substitute the missing toy with a box of cookies or an ice cream. =/

The situation only gets worse! :gasp:

I agree with what most people have said when they say it's ultimately the parent's decision and, really I think making it illegal is stupid. kids no, in fact everybody that goes to fast food restaurants can't honestly expect it to be 'healthy' can they? No. I mean, Mickey D's has that new apple slices option to make it a little more healthier but, overall, the meal is going to be fatty. They might as well as make every fast food place illegal. Its fast and easy food for the kids. And like Mits said, if you have it every once in a while, it shouldn't be a problem. If you do have it every now and then your kids shouldn't expect it as much and might not throw a hissy fit about it. The tantrum's kids throw about food is also how well you discipline them. Kids being healthy relies on the parents choices in food they buy. If there's a balance, then it shouldn't be a big deal.

I agree. Fast food places have never flaunted being 'healthy'. They shouldn't have to wager their sales to keep gluttonous people from health risks.

What about that girl that tried to sue McDonalds bc it made her fat? I dunno the details, but Google it. Made my blood boil.
I feel sorry for people who can't take responsibility for themselves. It's an embarrassment to American society, I think.

ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

More utterly ridiculous crap. Why the hell do they even suggest garbage like this....seriously.
When i was a kid whenever i would go to burger king i was never caring about the toy, it was about the food. Heck i was on adult meals when i was 7. WIthout my parents i couldnt go to burger king, i couldnt afford it. What bloody harm is a happy meal or kids meal seriously gunna do? Unless your eating there everysingle day and your kids getting no excersise and sittin his arse in front of the tv then its not a problem at all.
In the case of kids its the parents choise as their the ones buying the meals. Supposing i agreed with this idea, is removing the toy actually gunna make a difference at all? Some shitty toy that goes in the bin either before you leave the restraunt or when you get home? Maybe if there were ps3 games and mobile fones in happy meals it would be differnt story but no one cares about some plastic crappy model of padeo clown.

This.

They have the most innocent crap in happy meals. I work at McDonald's, I'd know, here anyway.

If you're a parent you need to be consequent, and have your damn shit straight. You don't have to cuss someone out to make your "No" point clear. Just don't go acting all 'D'awwww. Okay. Here you go.' No, in fact, not here you go.

If I had a five year old, and they'd bite my head off over McDonalds. Oh suuuuuure you can, darling. If you get a fulltime job that pays our rent, pays your school supplies, and clothes, and you can STILL afford your own happy meal, go right ahead, hunni-bun. :)

Until then, NO. Now hush it, or there won't be any dinner on the table at home either. :hmph:
