Lord Of Arcana Rises In October [6/7]

Square Enix, perhaps preempting the launch of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, set October 14 as the release date for Lord of Arcana. Dengeki broke the news in this week’s issue.

While Square Enix confirmed Lord of Arcana for Europe and North America, a launch window was not announced.

A playable demo is scheduled for August 19 on Japan’s PlayStation Store.

Ehh....very late December, spring, summer....it just depends how much SE cares about bringing this game westwards. From what I gather, they're localising the more well-known and important names (like FFXIII) much faster (although Birth by Sleep is taking its sweet time). For lesser known and less-demanded games like this, I wouldn't be surprised if they take a bit longer before giving it to us.

As I recall there’s a game that they release in US with the same date release at Japan, hope they do the same.

Lots of game will be release by Square Enix on the last quarter, hope my allowance are enough to buy my fav game. FFXIV and Monster Hunter Portable 3rd is on top of my list, I’ve waited for this!

Square Enix formally announced today a final release date for Lord of Arcana. The PSP multiplayer action title, which is drawing some comparisons to Capcom's popular Monster Hunter series, is set for release on October 14 at ¥5,980.

Word of the date leaked out of Famitsu yesterday. Today's official announcement also includes plans for a download release. The download version will arrive simultaneously, at ¥4,980.

The official site saw an update today with the new release date and the first actual trailer for the game (the previous video was just a single monster fight).

The game looks like it has co-op play. I see 1p written on top of the main guy and 2p 3p etc etc. Should be interesting unless they are just Computers helping you. Looks like hack and slash mostly
