Blue Mage
Well basically I'm a bit tired of the same medieval fantasy world seen in the majority of mainstream titles, so I'm looking for change of scenery.
-The gameplay genre isn't too important, as I'm more interested in the world, it's lore and most importantly design.
-I want the story have many fantastical tropes, and for the enemies to be monsters rather than people.
-I'd like for the locations to be magical in nature, for example in the PS2 title Rygar you visit a ruined city that floats with magic above the clouds, with thunder storms and the like. In short; places you rarely see in games.
Oh, and the gaming platform isn't an issue for me, so if anything comes to mind please let me know.
