Lone Wolf, the Pickpocket

I've always been fascinated with this character, perhaps not despite, but because of his complete lack of background and explanation for his existence. As far as i know, he only appears in FF5 and FF6. In FF5 we know where he came from, but the one in FF6... where the hell did THAT one come from? From the looks he might be an Esper, but he doesn't say anything about it nor does he seem to have any magical skills. So what's your theories?

He's not an esper first off. And secondly, he could have somehow ended up dimension hopping like Gogo and Gilgamesh may have, because they too appear in FFVI. It almost seems to me, that possible dimension hoppers from FFV seem to appear in FFVI. That's my guess.

I think he may just well be an Esper going by the story of VI where its mentioned that some Esper still do actually live in the human world. Either that or a highly intelligent monster or something. Hell the had a talking Moogle why not a theifing basterd of a Wolf eh.

Didn't Lone Wolf die in FF5? I thought he died in the crystal room of one of the shrines.
But yeah inter-dimensional travel is a possibility, and I am a strong supporter of all the theories in relation to that.
Gilgamesh travelled to the FF8 world (among others) via the void, and it is suggested that Gogo travelled to FF6 via the void too. Could well be that other FFV characters ahve foudn themselves in unfamiliar dimensions in the same way.

I don't think it's dimension hopping or w/e...just similarly named/themed characters that make comebacks in various games, like Cid, Biggs & Wedge.

That wasn't Lone Wolf. That was a werewolf from Kelga's village, which is probably where Lone Wolf came from.

I don't know if it's the same guy in VI. Personally I left him to rot in jail in V so he wouldn't steal the hidden treasures in Tycoon Castle. But given that he's the only wolf in VI, whereas there's an entire village of them in V, it could be the same guy, or one of the villagers who crossed over to VI's world via the N-Zone.

*anyways i do remember him being at ff5, guess hes an extra character just to mingle with our minds
