List some boring parts of FFVIII

Two words

Fisherman's Horizon...

Aw, no FH? I liked Fisherman's Horizon, though the mayor got on my nerves, at first. I think I was just excited for the whole team to get back together.

Esthar bored me. And the place was so confusing. The blue roads or whatever it is made me kinda sleepy. I don't know, there's just something wrong with the place. And I didn't like that guy (forgot his name) that talks, "Likez diz!" I thought he was boring too.

i'm sorry, but the words "boring" and "FFXIII" don't work in a sentence for me. Jokin, i would hav to say every time I had to walk from one place to another and all the enemies were really weak and did not give me any experience

i couldn't really findit boring at all to be honest with you. I mean some parts were more exciting than other but all in all it was an amazing game that had me taking every spare second i had to play it

The space part where u had to stop Rinoa from floating away...oh my! that part was really bad, really really bad. I personally like the laguna parts i thought they where good with the alternate battle music and really gave the game a different feel when u were a bit bored of it!

Galbadia D-District Prison. Up and down and up and down and fight and up and fight and down and submerge!

Then the missile base. Those parts killed my soul.

YES! Ah, the god damned prison made me cringe.

I didn't really mind the Laguna parts, but I did make it more difficult for my self by being obsessive compulsive and trying to draw 100 of all the magic for everyone. Yeah, smart move there, smart move.

But all in all.. Final Fantasy VIII really was not boring. It is a lovely game.

Mine would have to be the part where you try to find Raijin in Balamb and he's hiding all over the place. I took me way too long to finish that sequence.

Oh, and the prison thing definitely was kinda boring.:|

LOL! your talkin bout doctor Odine. Man that guy was off his rocker!

Anyway. I thought always having to get Rinoa out of trouble was boring enough if not irritating me to end. I hate her out of every Final Fantasy made!

Tied for first would have to be * taking the challenge of leveling Edea all the way up to level 100 then she just.........LEAVES MY A$$!* I really hated that because it was yesterday that it happened, and i got really POed. Yes, sadly, i ended up going to Best Buy to get a new controller and new speaker for my surround sound. My friends were laughing as i was doing this and this caused destruction to their cell phones...why not? they have plenty of footage of me destroying my room.

Another one that i found an annoyence, was the Tomb of the Unknown King. When i first went through the game for the first time, i had to reset many times. I never knew it was memory set. This took me hours to accomplish on my own.

There are certain battles you can get GFs from. When i first started playing this game, i didnt know you could actually DRAW GFs from some of the Bosses. This left me dumbfounded and totally annoyed with myself. I only thought you could FIND GFs, not DRAW them. So later on in the game i look in the GF section, and i see that i cant get the abilities i need cause i dont have the GFs needed to get them. This made me pissed off, causing my friends to laugh, causing me to start a new game.

I believe that every time you have to go and safe Rinoa is pretty boring... that´s 5 times i believe you have to safe her which makes it darn boring to me!

Also the Timber part was pretty annoying and boring as well as the finding the SeeD boat part!

I thought I had posted here!

Oh well! For me it was finding the SeeD boat bit! That was a pain in the backside. And the prison ... so wanted to hurt someone!

I totally agree with both of those, I suppose at least when you're looking for the SeeD boat you can at least do other things, e.g. Fight Odin.
There wasn't many boring parts about the game, but the prison did test my patience...

Yeah agree with you the prison was a pain and tryin to find the seed boat took forever. When you have to find the seed boat thats a good time to train your characters and do some side quests

I hated the 2nd seed mission with Rinoa, and I also agree that the first time I played the game, I hated the Laguna sequences.

Though now that I've played it through a few times, I kind of appreciate Laguna's past...since he actually has one. o_O

WooooooW. The boat is in the little crevice just above Edeas Orphanage. I call this area on the map " The Claw" along with my friends.

I dont understand why the D-District Prison was so Annoying. No Encounter works wonders here!

* something cool!!!* one of the guys trapped in one of the cells iiissss:
CC Card Club Member-Joker! you dont find this out til later on til your FIRST card dual at Balamb Garden, you can challenge him in the cells as a regular though. In Balamb Garden he has a couple good cards- Tiamat and the REALLY RARE Laviathen card.

Ugh. District prison.
I always rush through as fast as I can...
Or just quit playing the game at that point.

But always to remember to equip!....NO ENCOUNTER! this makes life much easier, time goes much faster, and the system goes much smoother.

Try it out Rhea. ITS CALLING TO YOU...

The most boring part has got to be fighting the Brothers. I mean, just draw Float at the beginning and you are set. But it's such a pain to constantly get that thing to regen that I usually just run in and kill him as fast as I can. I get beat on pretty bad, but I still win.

Other than that, I guess the part on Ragnarok where you kill those aliens is the worst. Killing 'em in pairs is a real pain.

I beg to differ. Its not a pain or boring...Its a BONUS BABY! Its easy, thats what it is, even without float. Fast ammo all the way

defeating The Propogators in the Ragnarok....another quick bonus! Just kill same 2nd color as the 1st, and done. little drama down on earth and BAM!! the Ragnaroks all Yours!

I always thought Laguna was the funniest character throughout videogames.
I laughed my ass OFF when he followed the wrong map all the way to Esthar!
When he gets nervous and his leg cramps up and Kiros tells him he was a negative 3 on the manliness scale. Yeah, Lagunas funny. I did however wish
he couldve been played a little differently. you know, instead of playing him in a dream. That circumstance was a little wierd for me.

i didnt like the space part it was quite rubbish i thought and it was boring for me i loved the rest of the game except for long talking scence wot a waste of time
