Welcome to a new let's play: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles! This is available on the Nintendo Gamecube and is made by Square Enix. It's not quite the traditional FF game, because it's more of an action RPG, but it's still really fun.

This will be played on single player. It won't be a daily let's play after the first few episodes. It'll be every 3 or 4 days probably :).

Episode 1 - The Myrrh Chalice

Hey all, welcome to the start of a new let's play! This episode has the opening, which we've seen before but I thought I'd leave it in in case anyone missed it/couldn't be bothered to watch it or whatever.

We also make our character! This little clavat is great with defence (which I forget to mention in the vid), but he's also pretty good with everything else really. Not as good as some other classes maybe...meh, it's all in the vid.

Finally we head off to the port in order to check out the tutorial. This goes on a minuteish longer than I would have liked, but we'll live.

Hello everyone! Here's the second dungeon...but first we need to make our way through that pesky water-elemental miasma stream. How do we do that? And how do we beat the boss of The Mushroom Forest? Fighting Malboros in FF games is always good for a chuckle...

Hey all, this episode shows a dungeon that's special to the lilty clan. The bombs used as lanterns are a special touch too :D.

So, will we make it through the mines? Will we defeat the ogre at the end (it may not be an ogre, but I can't tell what it is...)? Will the end of year celebration be amazing when we return home?

Hey all, welcome to an extra short episode that's just here to show the equipment upgrade system and how you can get rewarded by visiting your family back at home.

We also make our way over to a new dungeon in the first part of the world; Goblin Wall. It's similar to the mines but...at the same time, it's pretty different.

As for the boss, well he's certainly an interesting one. Sure loves his teleporting ha.

Hey all, welcome to Tida! This village shows what would happen if we weren't collecting our myrrh for Hyrule. All the more motivation to press onwards!

I always love my ghost towns in games, and this is no exception. The boss is especially amazing. A recurring enemy from a few FF games, y'know?

Episode 10 - Windy Worms

Hello everyone, here comes the Selepation Caves! This place is all about the wind and snow, kinda like the Ice Cavern maybe? Lots of new enemies, but the main thing that makes this place the toughest to date is that it's one hell of a damn maze!

However, make your way all the way through and you'll come across the boss. I love this guy! He's hard as hell, 'cause he can pack a hell of a punch, but that just means we have a bit of a challenge on our hands!

Episode 11 - Carnival!

Hey all, here comes Daemon's Court! While it may be incredibly small, the enemies here are tough! They normally come in groups and it's our first glimpse of enemies that almost require Holy to beat them!

The music is my favourite aspect of this place. Happy, chirpy music is always great in an RPG though, I find. The feeling of...Glastonbury too. Grand! :D

The boss is pretty great. Mainly because he's so easy after such a tough dungeon. The enemies are harder than him! It makes me feel a little bit guilty about the amazing reward we grab at the end...

Episode 12 - Veo Lu Sluice

Hey all, here's one of my favourite dungeons in the entire game: Veo Lu Sluice. It's just like a more tricky River Belle Path, with happy music and bright sunny skies. It's the last bright, happy dungeon left in the game. The rest will be dark and...dank. They each have something unique to them though so no worries.

Edit: There's actually one more brighter level, though...that's a sort of special case where we'll get the best of both worlds probably.

Anyways! That boss is easy enough so long as your strength is up. If not, thunder will do fine.

Episode 14 - Iron Giant's Heated Domain

Hey all, it's time to start year 4! This year is gonna be tough as nails, but we can do it! I'm sure we can...

Mt Kilanda is really hard when it comes to finding artifacts...I think we're supposed to pour water in those fire holes. I'm not a completely huge fan of this place, but at least there's the boss to look forward to.

Speaking of the Iron Giant, such nostalgia! He loses his sword a lot and is really easy to avoid but he can't half pack a punch when he hits! So try to hit him from the side or from behind. Look out for the midgets too, as usual.

Hey all, this one is pretty long, so apologies for that. Cohall Curach is a very straight-forward level, but it's so long regardless. We'll just say that the boss is the most impressive part of this dungeon. The Zombie Dragon is a Final Fantasy staple and is known for being the undead type. Therefore, Holy is essential! Life doesn't quite work though lmao.

Hey all, here's Rebena Te Ra! This place irritates the hell out of me and has to be the worst dungeon of the lot. See me rage! Because of all this, I've split this episode into two parts, but it's still all cut and stuff so it shouldn't get too tedious. Hopefully.

This is, by the way, the other horrorish dungeon of the game (other than Tida). Pretty great music though. Be prepared for puzzles that take a bit of thought!

Episode 16 - Deadly Ribena Juice (Part 2)

Hey all, here comes the rest of Rebena Te Ra (I am spelling that right, ain't I? :/). I've clipped to the solution of the wall puzzle...to be shocked about the reward :D.

It's certainly the toughest dungeon in the game, in terms of both enemy difficulty and unexplained puzzles. Actually like it more than I make out...but only by a little!

That boss isn't hard once you figure out how to beat him. Gravity on the pedestals and then holy on the boss itself. Then attack away!

Episode 18 - The Ultimate Element

Hey all, here comes the start of the Lynari Desert! It's hot...it's sandy...it's ever so deserty. Gravity works great for those giant birds (zus), while anything really works for the other enemies. I'm guessing that maybe blizzard is their weakness?

We also make a start on creating the ultimate element ready for later, which is done relatively easily if you've pieced together Hurdy/Gurdy's poems throughout the game. Those poems are hella cryptic though.

I can't believe we've nearly finished the game! I'm really thankful for those of you who have stuck through this series so far and hope you continue to enjoy :).

Episode 19 - The Antlion's Den

Hey everyone, here's another episode! Lynari Desert is all wrapped up along with us making the ultimate element. You never need to make it again, so no worries. It's pretty tough finding the right bit of quicksand, but we get there!

As for the Antlion, it's an alright boss. Not too hard, not too easy imo. It's been ripped right out of FF9 (Cleyra) so that's a huge nostalgic plus from me!
