Episode 19 - The Garden Of Eden


Hey folks, it's a biggy of an episode today! That does mean that we get a whole huge dungeon out of the way in one episode though so it's not such a bad thing imo. Namely: Eden Ruins! We'll check out the boss next time :).

We also check out Eden Village which is less of a village and more of a tropical island. I quite like this place actually; a week here would be the bestest :).

Episode 20 - Gothar, Protector Of The Ruins


Hey there folks, today we're wrapping up the Eden Ruins by taking on the boss.

Gothar The Ruin Keeper Strategy:

- Avoid lasers by running in circles.
- Jump when he lifts his arms, to avoid being held in place for a few seconds.
- When he pounds the floor, jump onto each of the platforms until you're right in from of him and slash.
- Attack his head when he's on the floor.

We also take care of the entirety of the Paco Village Ruins! This is more like a mini dungeon though thankfully. We're done with raiding all these ruins for Baron Diaz! Looks like we have a new problem though...

Episode 21 - Entering Jabu Jabu


Hey folks, it's time for us to make a start on the hardest and longest dungeon we've come across so far: the Demon Whale! It's not a dungeon I tend to look forward to (as you can probably tell from my attitude going through it lol) but at least it's something a bit different and unique in the game. It's not just more ruins, y'know?

Hey there folks, we're heading even deeper into the whale's private areas (not like that...pure filth). Obviously, that means that I get to show off how good at moaning I am. I'm the absolute best at it, without meaning to brag. The absolute best.

Episode 24 - Heart Of Gold


Hey folks, today we take on the boss of the Demon Whale!

Machine Heart Strategy:

- Avoid the lasers! Run in circles in between them.
- Enemies will be ejected from the heart. Avoid them until the lasers kill them.
- When it flings rocks, float with the pixie ring.
- When it descends, attack!

With that, we're finally done with the dungeon! That was a hell of a biggy lmao. So with that, we head on back to Varuna City with the 3 key items and...end up taking on the Varuna Dungeon...dungeon lmao.

Hey there folks, today we're taking on the mighty Mt Firedrake! This one is one of the more unique dungeons in the game, with so many comparisons with the volcano from Alundra 1! Completing the dungeon rewards us with the final elemental ring too...

Episode 28 - Feelin' Blue

Hey there folks, after the tropical temperatures of Mt Firedrake, we're now heading into the cooling waters of the Underground River! It's the last underwater section of the game (woop woop!) so...let's get cracking! :)

We also make a good start on the Dark Isle! We're coming to the end of all these mini-dungeons now :).

Episode 30 - How To Heal A Dragon

Hey there folks, today we're taking on the mighty Bloodfang; boss of Dragonia!

Bloodfang Strategy:

- Stay around the outside of the arena for most of the fight. It will help you avoid his mace (I think they're called maces?).
- When he runs around the outside of the arena, move towards the center just enough so that you can slash him when he comes by.
- There's not too much to it but that slash timing can be tricky :s.

We also tackle the start of the Varuna Ruins! This dungeon is the longest one left so we'll be there for a few episodes. Let's get cracking!

Hey folks, today we take on the boss of the Varuna Ruins!

The Baron Monster Strategy:

- Stand against the wall when he swings.
- Run around the outside a bit when he throws his arms like boomerangs.
- When his arms are stuck in the floor, attack away!
- That's about it. He's a boss that follows the same routine every time so it's just a matter of learning his pattern.

We also have a tonne of plot that takes us to the Star Key; the final dungeon!
