Ok, there may or may not be a post about this somewhere already (a game this old shouldn't have too many new things to add) but i just finished the game again and this is something i noticed (because i'm weird like that)
Right before Diamond Weapon attacks Midgar you're in the forgotten capital and Bughenhagen (spell check?) briefly mentions that Areis could have known before hand what she needed to do to beat Sephiroth. i.e. praying for HOLY.
In the opening Sequence when we first lay eyes on Areis is on a sidewalk looking into a window. when we get that first glimpse she has opened her eyes like she just finished praying.
AGAIN SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!
After Cloud beats Sephiroth in that one on one match and the planet saves itself from Meteor (spell check?) the last thing we see before the credits roll is that same glimpse of Areis opening her eyes like she was praying.
am i the only one whose mind was a bit blown from that? i could also be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off on this one but i'd like to see your thoughts.
P.S. If i don't respond for awhile that would be because of my job. it doesn't offer me alot of free time. (took me months just to beat the main story again let alone ALL of the side quests)
