Land of Dragons

((I'm not done, so i'll have to edit later))

And so the impromptu battle had been decided: it was a draw.

But there was one thing that did in fact make things interesting...

"Take it, it is one of the Dragonic Spirit Gems, it will allow you to use the power of the fire dragon. I am sure you will like it! You are now Macon, the Guardian of Fire."

"Umm, thanks, but... what the hell am I supposed to with it? Am I supposed to b-"

The orb that Macon was holding seemed to have sent out a strange energy at Macon. Upon which, his gaze was fixed entirely on staring at the gem. As he stared harder and harder, more and more of his world blanked out of existance. A bright yellow eye appeared out of the center of the gem as the colors within began to mobilize. They eye grew brighter and brighter. But the eye grew brighter still, as it burned with the intensity of a thousand suns. Macon had to shield his eyes with his hands for a moment.

BA-BOOM

He wasn't quite sure what it was, but the liquid cool air of comprehension and thought hit his brain at full speed. He finally understood! The elemental dragons were all of equal and opposing elements. However his job as the gaurdian of flame meant that he was to be the absolute flame sovereign. Which meant that he was to protect and become the avatar of the very element!

Cliche city hit him like a brick, but at the moment, he wasn't too concerned. I mean, it wasn't like he was only going to rely on flame. But he did need to completely solidify his bond with the element. But how was he to that? Brilliance, like an uncheck serial killer struck again.

Without warning, without hesitation, he took the gem and pressed it to his chest...

Jake frowned. There was something wrong. He could tell that she was very reluctant to give them information on Dracus. 13 though he was, Jake wasn't so naive as to not realize anxiety.

"I can't call him back. You didn't feel that rumble two seconds ago did you? The cave collapsed. Yes, Hera could easily blast through it, but he wants to save energy for the fight against Dracus." Jake stopped and paced from left to right and back. "I can sense Dracus, too. He is very powerful. Not in the same league as Hera or I. Please forgive the seemly lack of modesty, but we are...more powerful then you can comprehend, and Hera, though older and far," Jake grunted, still a little miffed that he couldn't beat Hera, "more experienced than me, is nowhere near as powerful as I am. I lose to him only because of my inadequacy in strategy."

"We should go to the other side of the mines. Hera will be waiting for us there. We may also," Jake said with a bloody grin. "Encounter Dracus."

"I may yet be able to avenge my family..." Jake whispered.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hera jumped out of the way of the crumbling rooftop, rolling past the falling debris and glimpsing Dracus running through the tunnel. There was an entrance on the other side of the mine. If Dracus got to that and took flight, he would be much more difficult to follow. Hera re-doubled his speed, easily catching up to Dracus. They were almost at the other exit.

"You can't run," he called, only a few feet behind Dracus now. "You will not escape judgement for your atrocities!" Hera jumped towards the wall and kicked off of it, soaring towards Dracus and creating a great crater in the wall where he kicked off. The ceiling started to crumble again.

"Inferno!" Hera roared, blasting a series of fireballs towards Dracus.

Tripod saw the smile on Jake's face, she was worried for Dracus safty. Tripod looked away from Jake."Wait, are you not worried about the baby dragon.... Why not just forget about Dracus and continue on with our quest to get the Baby dragon to safty." Said Tripod.

Suddenly Tripod felt and enegy spike as if someone made at attack, Oh no Dracus.
"Jake you can feel where Hera-kun is at, Can you tell me?" Asked Tripod as she looked at Jake.

"As I thought, you were the one destined to control the power of the Fire Dragon. With this gem, you will be able to transform into a more powerful being. The power of that transformation....well that is up to you....."

Aiden took his sword and then he stared at the sky. Suddenly he remembered about Hera Ledro and Tripod. "Sorry Macon but must leave now.....let's split up and search for a way to destroy the android army. Until next time....Dragon Warrior of Fire....." After that, Aiden vanished in a gleam of light.

Jake frowned. He wanted his revenge, but there was no denying that the Dragon hatchling's safety came first. "I guess you're right," Jake grunted, deeply frustrated that his chance to avenge his family had slipped by again. Gramps gets to have all the fun, thought Jake grudgingly. He turned to Tripod.

"Grandpa is almost to the other side of the mine," he told her. "And Dracus is there too. Jake looked in her straight in the eyes and saw all that he needed to know. He sighed. "What did Dracus tell you? We can talk about it on the flight for the Dragon Hatchling." Jake jumped ten feet in the air and stopped, hovering for a moment. "Come on, we should go look for the Dragon."

Tripod jumpped alittle when Jake asked her what did Dracus told her. "Um, He didn't tell me anything." Said Tripod as she try not to make eye contact with Jake. Then Jake hovered in the air and asked her to come along, "Um, I can't fly." Said Tripod as she scrached her head.

'Well, I can but I can't not right now. If I do Heart will punish me' Thought Tripod as she looked down at the ground..

Jake almost fell down in surprise. Grandpa's new ally can't even fly? he thought. Well, he did always have an eye for talent. "Well," Jake said. "I can fix that. As long as you are solid, this will carry you anywhere you want. It's still smart to learn how to fly though, so much more efficient." He looked off into the sky.

"Come on!" he called, turning towards the earth and raising his hands. A tremor shook the earth and a small, grey slab of slate rose out of the ground. As it hovered, Jake turned to Tripod and gestured towards her. The slate moved towards the Trigater slowly. "You can ride this. It will take you anywhere. I'd carry you, but it would slow us down." Jake felt the wind howling from the mines, knowing that something was happening in there.

OOC: Not a very good edit, but I don't have a lot of time. In school.

Flying Nimbus? You really couldn’t think up something more original? I don’t mind if things from anime are used (I myself borrow ideas from some anime as well from time to time) but you shouldn’t make it so obvious or at least improve upon the idea.

Shizuka looked out of the train window. Her brief visit to home was over and she was now heading back too Tokyo more precisely Tokutei Gakuen, where she could continue her studies. It didn’t take long before Shizuka arrived.
The campus was heavily secured, guards patrolled the direct area and walls kept intruders out. Shizuka had to identify herself too the guards before she was allowed to enter. After entering she headed towards her homeroom teacher. With the recent events Shizuka knew how weak she actually was and with her teachers help she could get into the advanced combat classes where students would learn how to attack with their powers.
Though this was normally for those students at high school level and up Shizuka hoped that her extraordinary abilities would allow her to follow the courses anyways.

Shizuka gained approval and she headed back to the dorms. Tomorrow she would start her new courses and she was already looking forward too it. Next time they would meet she would defeat the one who had the same presence as her brother.

Next day Shizuka’s training started, her teacher was an old man who was known for her talents with elemental forces. It was said that no ordinary man could defeat him in combat. Shizuka wondered how much of this was true. First was physical exercises Shizuka didn’t quite understand why they trained their bodies in a school where everyone had magical powers however when she saw an exhibition between 2 sempai’s she realised that in they used their magic too support their fighting abilities.
Shizuka was completely drained from all her energy by the end of the class, just like everyone else. Besides the top students from the high school division where continuing their practice. Still Shizuka felt like she had learned her weakness now, she had complete confidence in her magical abilities but in a fight stamina, speed and strength were much more important. Also she realised how weak she was. Her brother Ku was strong, well stronger then most anyways, and she saw how he could probably hold out during this class without falling down from fatigue like she had done. Still Shizuka knew that she was too young and a girl, therefore she couldn’t become as strong as the boys. However she could train her stamina a little.

From that moment on Shizuka trained everyday, during and after school, to become stronger. In class she learned how to combine her magical abilities with martial arts to make a deadly combination, while the rest of the time she trained her endurance as much as possible. However the more she trained the more she wondered if it was enough. It wasn’t hard too see that the one who defeated her was stronger then most of the people here, even if it was from the fact he had made it seem so easy. Also she wondered when she would get a chance to test her new strength on him.

Tripod looked at the cloud, "Aye." Said Tripod as she clambed abord the slate, she didn't fall. Well, good thing I didn't fall, I be shocked if I did.

Tripod sat down and looked over at Jake, "I'm ready to go when ever you're you're ready Jake-kun." Said Tripod with a smile.

OOC: Hey, I'm not going to put myself at risk because of copyrighted stuff...actually, I'll edit it. Just got a brainwave to use. You'll have to edit yours too RPGirl. Sorry (don't wanna be liable for copyrighting stuff).

As Tripod jumped onto the slate that Jake had risen from the Earth, Jake turned to the horizon. God damn...I wish I could take a chunk out of Dracus. Jake used his energy to smoothly pull the slate along beside him. As they rose, Jake looked back towards the mines. Be careful Grandpa.

Aiden then began to use his new found powers to search for Hera Ledro. Aiden knew that in order to find the last dragon gem he needed the knowledge that was sealed within Hera's memories. He then felt the energy of Hera, Jake and Tripod. With a small grin he stared at the horizon, his sight was now directed to the place in which they were located. "Hehehe.....I found them....." Then, using the power of the light dragon gem he transformed into a white dragon. After this he dashed towards Hera Ledro and the others.

Tripod was riding along on the slate, and enjoying the wind in her hair. Suddenly Tripod sinced something. Tripod quickly looked back and saw a white dragon.

"Um, Jake-kun, do you know this guy?" Said Tripod as she looked at the white dragon. He feels furmilar, like some one from back in that forest.

The white dragon made a sudden stop in front of them. He was searching for Hera Ledro and he was not leaving without the answers he was looking for. His eyes were green filled with the burning desire for true power. No one knew that the white dragon was in fact, Aiden himself. He was holding his sword, The White Dragon, in his right hand and the Fearless in his left.
Aiden didn't say a word, he was just waiting for Hera Ledro to see him.

"That's Aiden, Grandpa's friend. His power signature is identical to the one that Grandpa sent to me when he told me to find and protect you. He said that he was meeting with this guy." Jake frowned. "Why is he a white Dragon though...Aiden!" Jake called. "Come here! What's going on?"

"Why is he a white Dragon though...Aiden!" Jake called. "Come here! What's going on?"

"I see you have recognized me young one." After this Aiden goes back to his winged human form. "I need to find Hera Ledro. Only he can give me the answers I seek." Aiden then noticed the surprised look on Jake's face. "Why are you so surprised? Have you never seen a white dragon?"

Tripod was alittle confused, "Wait how did, you become a White Dragon?" Said Tripod as she scrached her head. Suddenlly a cold breeze blew though, Tripod. "Oh no, aH..AH..ah." Said Tripod beofr she sneezed.

Tripod eyes turn to a Firey red color, "Look, I don't care who he is. Just kick his butt and lets get the heck outta here, I'm getten bored already." Said Tripod as she tapped her foot on the stone slab.

Aiden heared Tripods question and he asnwered it. "I am using the power of the Dragon Gems. Using its power I am able to transform into the white dragon thanks to the dragon's blood that runs through my veins." Then he noticed that Tripod's eyes changed to red. "I see, so you want to fight me.....come if you dare, I will fight you in my human form."

A smile came across Tripod's face, "Sure I'll love to fight ya." Said Tripod as she was about to jump. But then she stop. "Okay, fine. Look I can't fight ya, right now." Said Tripod as she sitted and pouted.

"I'm too busy right now. I need to find this Yoki." Said Tripod in a anyoid tone. Dangit, Gray you just have to ruin all of my fun.

"I'll fight him..." Jake said, grinning. "I've energetically placed a energy signature homing attribute to the slab using Earth skills. If you just think about the energy signature, it will take you to who you want to go. This is what the Dragon's energy signature feels like," Jake said. Jake transferred the rough feel of the Dragon's energy signature to Tripod. He wasn't at all surprised by the transformation. Hera Ledro had warned him something like this would happen. "Get going," Jake said. "Go look for the Dragon hatching."

He turned to Aiden. "Well then, shall we do this on the ground or in the air? Your choice." Jake hovered there, waiting for Aiden's decision.

"Well then, shall we do this on the ground or in the air? Your choice." Jake hovered there, waiting for Aiden's decision.

Aiden smirk as he saw Jake getting ready to face him. "Well, alright. You may not be as strong as your grandfather, the Great Hera Ledro, but you should at least make this battle worth it. Let's begin this challange on the land. I will fight you in my human form."
Aiden then lands on the ground and draws his sword, the "Divine Dragon".
