012: Duodecim Labyrinth Mode question

What are the coins you earn when you play the labyrinth mode do?

I can't figure out what they are good for.

Anyone else confused by this or is it just me??

You can buy gear's to use in the mode,since you go into it without anything on you can buy Summons,Equipment and Accessories to make it easier on you.

Items with a Icon that looks like a tent are Item's you can take out of the Mode and into the main game if you make it to a exit
