This fanclub is dedicated to L from the anime Death Note. The club title is very original, isn't it?

The rules of FFF apply to this club, so:
  • No Flaming - It's immature and makes you look like a temperamental five year old. Also, if a person enjoys a certain pairing involving L that you dislike, please do not flame them.
  • No L-hatred - If you hate, or dislike L, please don't post here..
  • No off-topic posts - Your posts have to contain substance, meaning they must mention something about L. Otherwise, you will most likely cause a domino affect of spam.
  • No porn/hentai - It's against the rules of many forums.
  • Spoilers - Please be considerate to people who haven't finished the series and wrap all spoilers in spoiler tags.
Intelligent discussion and debate are encouraged, but not absolutely necessary. You are also welcomed to submit graphics, fanart, fanfics, etc., as long as they adhere to the club rules. If you join, you are also encouraged to stay active in the club. I am providing a list of both active and inactive members.

L is probably my fav anime character, I really loved his quirks like how he sat, how he always ate sweets and how he held things like phones and what not. plus I loved seeing his detective skills at work, this character was a true masterpiece in my opinion
 
Yep, L was a great character. He was one of a kind. XD I mean,
his successor, Near, was a decent try at an L imitation, but the creator couldn't quite make him as good a character as L.

One of the things that I like about L is that his messy, unkempt appearance throws you off to his intelligence. I like characters that throw you off; they're almost always interesting.

Now for the big Q: would you like to join?
 
Lol, I thought this was to L of the forums lol. Im more of a Light fan girl myself, but L does have his cuteness ;)

You should just make a Death Note Club. :3 But L is the bestest character in Death Note ever! *hugs L and strokes his messy hair* He's also my second favorite anime character ever. (second to Morty of Ecruteak)

I love how Light is so well-kept, and you would expect him to be good, and L to be bad since he doesn't follow society's rules, really... but L. ^___^

Should have, yeah, now that you mention it. Should I just make a separate club, or should I PM a mod to change the title, and edit my post myself?

I love his messy hair. XD So cute. And his eyes. It's weired; the creator of Death Note once said that he/she tried to design L to look as ugly as possible. :O It's hard to believe that, since he turned out adorable (especially in the manga).

I love how Light is so well-kept, and you would expect him to be good, and L to be bad since he doesn't follow society's rules, really... but L. ^___^

Well, I think that Light was naturally good-natured (and you can really see it
after he gives up his Death Note
and on the Yotsuba plot arc), it's just that he let the Death Note power and ambition take him over to the point where he turned borderline evil.

I never really thought that, I guess.

Sometimes I feel that Near is bad... He's so sadistic.

Well, I say just ask a mod. It wouldn't take that long. I mean, you already have a start here in the history of the L/Death Note Club. :P

As for Light, I thought he was just extremely intelligent, and as such, looked down on most people. Just for the fact they couldn't really keep up with him. And power just went to his head. And it's quite sad, but after
Light gives up his Death Note, in the Yotsuba period
L seems to think abit less of Light, not a HUGE jump in respect but... Remember when he thought, *Oh, here it comes.* Or something of the like? He seems to like the Kira/Light more then just plain Light... maybe 'cause he gets more rivalary and challenge.

I think you're right, I think that L "likes" Kira-Light, because L wants something that he can challenge his intellect with, and Light is the only one with enough intelligence to be able to actually make L think hard. All of those other cases in L's point of view were like giving grammar school work to a college student.

And I think L really did like Light for the challenge. He seems t o like the other members of the investigation team
as in for instance, I don't think he would have provided back up money for them
but Light.... it's rivalary and friendship. Love-hate relationship. :P

I really like how they seem to symbolize Light as trying to be God, even in pictures. Like with that one where he's holding his arms out and everything. And Eve fell from glory by eating an apple. All that stuff.
