A new set of screenshots for Rockstar and Team Bondi’s upcoming Los Angeles detective thriller, L.A. Noire, have been released tonight. Rather than focus on the murder scenes and clues usually showcased, tonight’s images focus on the night life.
The game’s out for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 17, 2011. Check out the new screenshots at the gallery.

Well it looks stunning, and it seems to have a darker story which is right up my street. The facial capturing technology is definitely a step forward in terms of the graphical quality of games, I'd like to see more if it.

But... I think I'll borrow it from a friend or get it when it's cheap. The trailer is done in the exact same way as RDR, I got hyped up for it and only played it once. I could have easily saved the money and played it later.
It looks like it's going to play in exactly the same way as all the Rockstar games, which isn't necessarily bad... it may just be too familiar.
