About the clan
Knights of the round was originally an ORPG that I started a few years back, and I've opened several KOTR clubs throughout several FF forums. Now that I've settled into FFF, I've decided to open the very first KOTR Clan.
I may start the ORPG back up again soon, depending on my schedule. The original story had never been thoroughly developed, and only consited of a few characters and world regions.
The clan consists of forum members; anyone who has a general interest in fantasy-based Role Plays can join, but I humbly request that you have plenty of time to devote to club development. So don't join unless you plan on posting often.

Rules, FAQs, and Guidelines
Rules
You can't just step into the clan and request to be a member. Before you even attempt to join up, make sure you have what it takes:
A) Make sure you have at least one approved RP character biography.
B) Make sure you have moderate time to devote to club participation.
C) Plan on offering frequent suggestions and help.
FAQ - How things work around here...
So you want to join the knights of the Round? First things first; you can't join without an approved RP character. And second of all...upon being accepted into the clan, you have to choose a position of knighthood.
Q ) What are the different positions available?
A ) I don't make up the positions; you do. A typical position of knighthood would be something along the lines of a dark or holy knight, or even a black, red, or white mage.
Your position will correspond with the nature of your Role Playing character. If your character is a magic bearer, then he or she will likely hold a position in the clan as a mage, or sorceress; pending on the type of magic that your character wields.
Be creative though...clan positions range anywhere between a homless people, to exotic dancers, to alchemists...You're not limited in choosing your position, as long as it corresponds with your RP character.
There are other positions besides knights in the KOTR clan. If your character is not an adamant or frequent fighter, then you can always choose a position as a citizen or regent. Citizen positions may include anything from farmers, to mechanics, to librarians...whatever your character's current occupation is will determine his or her position as a citizen. Regent poitions are just like citizen positions, however, they hold higher titles, like "senator", "lord", or "king".
Q ) Can my character hold a position as both a citizen and a knight at the same time?
A ) Yes
Q ) Can I have more than one of my RP characters listed under the clan's member list?
A ) Yes. As a matter of fact, as long as your RP characters are approved, you can have as many characters join the club as you so desire.
Q ) What's the purpose of the clan? What do I do once I join?
A ) Once you're in the clan, you can start interacting with the other members and coming up with ideas for things like new roleplays, new characters, and new RPBs...
When new ORPGs are created by clan members, you'll be asked to give credit to KOTR for any specific RPs that were created alongside other KOTR members. For example, Once you put up a new roleplay, you'll be asked to add something along the lines of "A KOTR production..."
If you make a new ORPG yourself, you're not required to, but you're more than welcome to add KOTR credits to your own production.
Adding a Location to the clan
What on earth does adding a location mean? Plain and simple. Most KOTR RP productions are based around worlds which were created by our own clan members. In order to help expand our RPing universe, you can create your very own location; e.g. a city, village, forrest...any location imaginable. Just give it a name, and a very thorough description. Don't just describe your location as "hot, humid, and highly populated"; be sure to add as many details as necessary.
Bear in mind that large cities or capitals require more thorough descriptions than simple settings such as mountain ranges, caves, or bodies of water.
Help and Suggestions
I've mentioned before that I would like for my club members to offer suggestions. E.g. If you have any ideas for new positions and club expansions, then fill me in. Also, if you notice any errors in this post, don't hesitate to let me know.
I'll probably be staying at this forum for a long time to come. I log in daily, so I'll have plenty of room for suggestions.
