What did you all think of it, am I the only one who loved it?
And I don't mean the cheesy Winnie the Pooh or Aladdin music.. but like:

Destati
Another Side
Guardando Del Buio etc..

The Organisation XIII theme was niceee too and Sunset Horizons in KH2.

Just me then?

I thought it was a pretty good soundtrack. I'll admit that I was a little sad that Yoko Shimomura was slated for the job rather than good ol' Nobuo, but I guess her style fits Kingdom Hearts a little better.

She did pretty well in adapting the Disney songs, too, but I was disappointed in the arrangements for the Disney worlds that she composed herself. Not that I would have rather had every world have a background track of a song from the respective movie... but Shimomura's compositions for the Disney worlds were just ick to me.

The music for the original worlds was great, though. Some people seem to hate the Traverse Town theme, but I love the way it sounds so homey (I guess it's like Farm Boy from FFVII).

I thought the music fit amazingly well. The theme songs for both games are some of the best S-E has used, in my opinion. Still, tops go to the versions of "Dearly Beloved" (although KH1's were better than 2's). I agree some of the Disney versions fell flat, particularly "He's a Pirate" seemed a little dried up of the swashbuckling flair of the Klaus Badelt original.

Actually I'm listening to it right now. Well the song I'm actually listening to is The Force In You (KH:CoM/ Battle against Riku Replica). Not bad.... I guess.

I thought it was alright...

Destiny Island is a catchy tune (kinda reminds me of Mario 64). I loved Hikari KINGDOM Orchestra Instrumental Version, Treasured Memories and Dearly Beloved (Great Piano piece).

I love the soundtracks for the Kingdom Hearts games. Great world themes and battle themes throughout. The Hollow Bastion theme is especially awesome.

Destati is definitely one of the best songs. I like the tracks that AREN'T Disney songs best. Some of the music in the Disney worlds is okay, like in the 100 Acre Wood, but for the most part it either blends into the background or grates on my nerves.

I liked Destati and Another Side and mainly the non-Disney songs, like VR. I just feel they have a more serious tone to them rather than the happy, bouncy tone that Disney delivers.

I'm in love with Destati and Hikari/Simple and Clean. I also like the battle theme of Hollow Bastion, which I think is Scherzo di Notte.

I haven't downloaded much of the soundtrack, but I love simple and clean, and the techno remix, it's just a great song.

Destati is epic. One of the best themes of any game I've played. I can't believe I overlooked it.

The Organization XIII theme (I guess it'd be Another Side) is also awesome.

And just to add something else to this post: Simple and Clean > Passion.

I've never been one to buy video game soundtracks, or just soundtracks in general. But! I'd probably make an exception for this one. The traverse town theme alone is worth whatever the price may be IMO. If simple & clean is on there, that'll just be icing on the cake.
