Gamers looking for a partial taste of the next Kingdom Hearts game will have to play through Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, which should be hitting Japan sometime this winter. In an interview with Famitsu, Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura stated that Birth by Sleep possesses a secret video that will provide some insight for the next game. This may remind players of Kingdom Hearts I and II, as they both had their own mystery endings. Unfortunately, Nomura wouldn’t budge when asked if he was referring to Kingdom Hearts III.

Famitsu: Do you think people will want to replay the first title after clearing this one?

Nomura: Hmmm, I think there are a lot of puzzling elements, so maybe they’ll want to play the next game…And there’ll be a secret movie too.

Famitsu: The next game!? Do you mean “III”!?

Nomura: The next game will be the next game (laughs)

YES!!!!! Any info on KH 3 is epic win :awesome: But i may just have to watch this secret video on youtube, as i cant get BBS. But i am glad that there is talk of a "next game"
 
Oh this made me go Ohhhhhh. I want to see what is in store for Kingdom Hearts III I just hope its not fucking Marvel characters!!!! Will they be keeping the disney characters?
 
And people here said not to "hold your breath". I knew it wouldn't be that long. BBS is like a backstory to better grasp what we have and what's to come, so it was only a matter of time. Even if it somehow isn't for KHIII, it'll still be some kind of teaser for whatever the "upcoming installment" is, so if they somehow decide to do another bridge game, it's still great news. Very exciting...

It would make sense to connect the events of BbS to another KH game. I wouldn't be surprised to see some things mentioned in BbS itself that didn't have any correlation the other games.

But yay, secret video! I don't know if 358/2 had a secret video of sorts, but I'm psyched to see it in BbS.

Actually, no, I'm more psyche about BbS itself, but whatever ^_^
 
I do recall Nomura (or another senior member of Square-Enix) mentioning about the possibility of bringing Kingdom Hearts to Wii, which seemed quite controversial. There's a strong likelihood that this may be reference to a Kingdom Hearts Wii title. Part of me says that it might not be KHIII, but it's just intuition. I personally want a proper KHIII, as there is only a limit to the prequels and spin offs I can take before I die of money failure.
 
I kind of expected this, to be honest! That video's going to be the next ASAS/Deep Dive - we're going to be analyzing it FOREVER, but loving everyone minute of it.

...I need a PSP.
