Why this is classed as news on N4G is beyond me but it is, so there we go. On the other hand I've only listened to Xion's Theme and it is, to put it simply. Stunning.

----

A young composer named Bak.R has composed an orchestral album of some themes from the Kingdom Hearts series. The fourteen tracks were chosen by three stages of voting on the French site KHDestiny, and the album is finally finished ! Come back into the Kingdom Hearts' universe with these wonderful compositions, a few days before the Japanese release of Birth By Sleep.

Listen To The Album Here!

I listened to this about an hour ago and was shocked at how beautiful it is.

And I'm still listening to it! My favorite track is Roxas so far, but I can tell I'll find another that I fall in love with.

I LOVE Kingdom Heart's music, so I'm definitely giving this a listen to. The first song, Dearly Beloved (I think) is absolutely beautiful!

Is the album free? because I'd love to download it. It sounds outstanding.

Thank you for sharing this! I'm only on track number 2, but so far it sounds amazing! Can't wait to add this to my library! :D!

And to think a fan composed this! Do I hear the next big video game composer? :D!!

Oooh. I'm loving this. Must say track 13 is absolutely mouth watering for me.
And Xion's Theme aswell. So pretty and serene.
Now I'm not gonna get any sleep what so ever.
Great.
:se7:

Yeah, it has to be since they don't own any of the material on the soundtrack. They made it but the actual song is licensed to SE so they have to make it free :D

Shweet!:ohshit: *runs to download*

I can't wait to listen to more of it. Thanks for the info. :tighthug:

The tracks are so soothing :ryan: The Roxas one is very much win. I can type and feel like I am on vacation with no care in the world :ryan:

I agree that these are some of the recent things posted here that don't really seem very news worthy, but I checked it out.

I'm impressed. I'm still partial to Shimomura's original versions, but these versions are pretty awesome.

It's great to see that there are such dedicated fans that they'll do renditions of memorable themes - Bravo ^_^

EDIT: Okay, wait, there's something that kind of nagged me a bit. Why is this specifically called an orchestra remix? Aren't the original themes orchestra music too?

EDIT: @Tmoo below: Ooohhh...That makes sense >_<

they're specifically called an orchestral remix so as to not confuse people about what kind of 'remix' the artist did of the originals.
