Michael Jackson influenced many great artists, has the best-selling album of all time (Thriller) and not only does he sing, he shows excellent dance moves on the stage.
He had a great tallent since childhood as he sang in the Jackson 5. Thanks to Quincy Jones, Michael started off his own career professionally. After Thriller came out in 1982 other legendary songs such as Beat It, Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' and Human Nature hit the top chars.
Then the rumour started going around, people noticed that Michael's skin color started to change. However that didn't slow down his music.
On every single Michael looked different. These 'things' are called eras.

Off The Wall era (First Single.)
Thriller era (1882)
Bad era (1986)
Dangerous era (1992)
HIStory era (1995)
Blood On The Dancefloor era (1997)
Invincible era (2002)

Until this day, there are many songs that are well know even by 7 year olds. Despite the fact of what happened in his history, Michael Jackson still remained the King Of Pop.

Some crazy fans keep saying that Michael is preparing a comeback this year. Wether it's true or not, all I know is that he has released an album Thriller 25 Anniversary. The CD inlcudes the voices of todays hottest singers Akon, Fergie, will.I.am and Kanye West.

Michael Jackson is the King Of Pop.
Most of the people here grew up on his music, and there must be a song of his that you might like.

THIS THREAD IS MADE TO DISCUSS THE MUSIC OF MICHAEL JACKSON

(those are approximate years of release. Don't expect me to remeber the years exactly as they were)

I liked his music more when he was black tbh.
Personally I think he is nowhere near as talented as Prince.
But, he is one of the few pop singers who's music I find worth listening to:wacky:
There are quite a few Michael Jackson songs I like, though I won't bother to list them.
