Kinda stuck. Need help plz

OKay. I made it to the monastery and Sir Diaz told me he's gonna whip my ass. I followed him to the forest and all he did was jabber on and on. Then he told me to go back to the monastery and talk to him again. So I go and he has nothing new to say. I never fought Sir Diaz and I am stuck. What do I do?
 
Well, this area was before i joined back up, but I think you have to talk to the knight-guy in sapphire forest 4 i think it is and he will lead you to Rabanastre.

The priest knight npc, talk to him and ya should have the option " diaz sent me, you are to lead me to rabanastre"
 
Wait no, you haven't battled him yet? Go to Arlendia Garden and then you should see that in "Monsters In The Area" Sir Diaz is listed, click on it, then hunt.

That will take you into battle against him, once you have defeated him, go back to Arlendia Monastery, start a chat with him, then you should notice the option has changed, it will then say "I've won...barely...".

Then go through that conversation, and then go to Sapphire Forest 4 and talk to the Priest Knight NPC. Hope that helps. :)

Once ya get to rabanastre, ya better bank your money and stock up on items and potions. Then talk to festivus and choose a path.
