Well, the sphere grid makes your character developement more flexible right?

So then we have Kimarhi right in the center, so we basically have the freedom of making him any "class" we want.

Which path did you take with him?

I think he always ended up going Rikkus route with mine, not really by choice.......Im pretty sure I struggled finding him places to go because there just seemed to be no paths open.....

he was one of my weaker characters which is ridiculous, because looking at him you would expect him to be some sort of powerhouse...even in the Omega Ruins he was barely doing any damage when my other chars were doing 9999...(monter catching, gotta love it >_>)

He generally just got sidelined with me =/

I've started FFX a few times, and each time he's gone somewhere else

The first time it was Rikku's, second Auron's and third Tidus's. I think it was more a case of what I wanted him to learn at the time as opposed to which route I wanted him to go down...

I always seemed to go along with Tidus' because it was the easiest to gain access to :) and he was quite fast anyway so all the skills suited him quite well

***changed to opinion instead of double post***

I agree that Tidus's suited him, but I really hoped he would have been stronger than Tidus, even though you have to fight him in the beginning

It's really annoying, having Kimahri in the middle. I ended up hardly using him, he became too weak. But, after completing the game and having nothing to do, I took him onto Yuna's path, then Auron's path via Tidus' path. He still sucked.

I sent him down Auron's and then Wakka's path and he raped all the poor monsters that he came across. He was faster than Auron, but had Auron's power plus Wakka's accuracy and piercing.
I think it was a bit stupid, not allowing a character to have their own unique path though.

I took him along Tidus' path. Not for long though; I only went two nodes past the Delay Attack ability. I haven't upgraded him since then, and I'm on 100 hours now.

I did however, put Strength Sphere +4 nodes in every empty node in the center where he starts. I've upgraded him with that, and that's about it.

I think the idea behind it was that because he's a Ronso, he can adapt/learn any style of fighting. Lulu says he's learnt the fiends way of fighting, he can copy moves via Lancet, so he's a completely adaptable character.

To be honest i never saw a point in Kimarhi, he had the ability to go to everyones sphere grids, but you have another character for that who is more suited so why bother?
But i always ended up half way through Rikku's before i got bored.
