This is my character Kailin who shares a name with my RPG character.

Name: Kailin Shador.
Title: Cursed Swordsman: Kailin received this title after he received his curse and changed for the first time and how skilled he is with a blade.
Alignment: Kailin is a good guy and will fight for justice and truth but when he changes he can’t distinguish friend from foe and will attack any life form within sight range.
Race: Formally Human but because of his curse and exposure to magic he is no longer a proper human. Kailin maintains a human appearance but is now immune to the hazards of time or disease and can’t be harmed by things like poison or venom or any other harmful things that invade the body.
Gender: Male.
Age: 19
Appearance: Kailin has the handsome young prince style of face and it seems out of place with his attitude his clothing. Kailin has a slim body with a fair amount of muscle but because of his curse he tends to avoid showing much skin. Kailin is average height and because of his build people think he’s quiet weak even though he’s as strong as the average person. Kailin’s body has been sculpted to his fighting style and his actual weight is small because of how fast he needs to move while fighting while his muscles have a high reaction meaning even more speed.
Kailin’s face is what most people notice first and as it is very handsome and flawless. Kailin has light skin despite how much time he spends outside in the sun and most people think he rarely goes outside. Kailin has light blue eyes when he’s normal and has glowing white eyes when he changes, Kailin’s eye colour is almost identical to his hair colour. Kailin leaves his medium length hair alone meaning it’s in a basic style and because of his hairs shape it makes him look younger than he is.
Kailin’s chest and upper back is covered by bandages that are normally covered in blood, this is because of the mark his curse left on his body. The mark itself is a glowing purple pattern of curved lines that slowly bleed as if he was cut there and it hasn’t healed properly. This mark doesn’t hurt Kailin or cause any physical pain it just bleeds.
When Kailin changes when his curse takes over his entire appearance changes, all the light around Kailin is focused into a solid armour round his body protecting him from most attacks. Kailin also sprouts two wings that look like there made of the same material as the armour.
Attire: Kailin normally wears a long sleeved light weight top that is dark blue and has white trims round the sleeves and neck. This top is quiet lose like all of Kailin’s cloths, Kailin wears a black cloth belt at his waist over the top of his top which because of it’s length the bottom of this still hangs beneath the belt. Kailin wears light blue almost white pants that are trimmed black at the bottom with two black strips going up the outer side of the legs. Kailin also wears white boots that’s tops are hidden by his pants while his hands are covered by white gloves which have light armour across the back that is made of an unusual white metal. Kailin also wears a single shoulder armour section on his left shoulder that’s made of the same white metal as the backs of his gloves. Kailin often wears his full length white coat which has dark blue trims and is always worn undone.
When Kalin changes his whole body is covered with an unusual metal that is formed when light focus’s into a point so it solidifies. This armour is completely white and is arranged as overlapping spiky plates with a helm in the same fashion. Kailin’s helm has two eye slits which glowing white eyes are visible through while light emits from every gap in the armour.
Personality: Kailin is a kind generous person who try’s to only do good for the more good deeds he does the less active his curse is. Kailin is a kind person who is naturally charming in the way he acts while having an air of leadership making everyone notice him when he enters a room. Kailin is clever and resourceful which is reflected in how he uses his surroundings in combat. Kailin is rather intelligent for he has had a good education and will always plan out something instead of charging in. Kailin is always calm which is quite daunting and he rarely gets angry, Kailin is naturally a people person when it comes to males but he can’t really talk to girls even though most like him. Kailin is the type of person who avoids combat when he doesn’t have to fight meaning he won’t draw his sword until he has too. The bad thing about Kailin’s personality is that he’s proud and doesn’t like to be wrong. Kailin is afraid to get close to anyone because of his curse means he could change and kill everyone around him if he doesn’t do enough good deeds so he tends to distance himself from groups.
First Impression: Kailin has an air of power and seems to demand attention this makes him look tall in the way of power while he is only average height. Kailin looks like a noble because of his face and because of this most girls want to get to know him or have a relationship but because Kailin can’t talk around woman this doesn’t work out. Kailin is someone that you remember even if you have only glanced at him before.
Strength: Kailin doesn’t believe strength is the way to win in battle and as such the only strength he’s developed is that he’s gotten through his normal training. Kailin wouldn’t do much damage if he punched someone and it would properly do less damage than a normal persons punch.
Speed: Kailin feels at home moving quickly and luckily his curse gave him the benefit of being able to train his physical abilities so they keep getting better. Kailin is insanely fast and is a blur to enemies with sharp eyes and to most he will sometimes disappear altogether. Kailin relies on speed in combat and will most likely make sure his opponent is disarmed since Kailin will talk a foe out of fighting rather than engage straight away unless his foe is a monster which he shows no mercy.
Endurance: Kailin doesn’t tire at all when he’s moving at normal speeds unless he’s really working hard. In combat situations Kailin will move in short burst and will spend most of the battle immobile, because of this Kailin uses nearly no energy up and can last a few hours in a normal battle. When Kailin changes he will attack until he consumes all his energy which will last a few minutes. Kailin can’t take attacks very well and a small amount of damage will leave him unable to fight but because of his speed it’s hard to do that.
Reflexes: Kailin’s current reflexes are determined by how ready he is and since he is normally ready they are normally pretty high. Kailin can dodge most arrows and crossbow bolts and will dodge slower bullets while being able to react faster than normal people can keep up with. Magic is Kailin’s main treat and because of this he will generally end up staying away from mages and trying to overwhelm them in one or two hits.
Fighting Style: Kailin relies on staying away from his enemies while staying out of there range for all but split seconds when he closes in the gap and does massive damage with his swords. Kailin will alternate between fighting styles depending on which of his sword he was using and because of this Kailin can throw in many surprises. Kailin is a fighter who at close range is lethal because of his skill with his blade but he try’s to get his enemy to think that is were he’s bad in combat by hanging back out of there range but when they get in close he easily overwhelms them with swordsmanship. Kailin keeps an eye on his surroundings at all time so he knows were he can move and because of this he ends up using his surroundings well. Kailin’s downside in combat is the fact that when he’s actually moving he tires quickly and his lack of strength and ability to take blows. Kailin relies on fast hits and dodging so if he is forced into a struggle with swords he will most likely loss.
Weapons: Kailin welds five different swords all of which are either on his hip in there sheath or magically stored in the jewels in his shoulder armour piece. Kailin can only have one of his stored weapons out at a time and he can switch them whenever he wants.
Durandal: The ancient sword of Kailin’s family that’s handed down from generation to generation. Durandal was crafted from a dragonstalkers wing blade and so is strong enough to cut cleanly through light armour and is as light as a wooden sword of the same size. Durandal is a medium sized hand and a half sword that is European style and like all of Kailin weapons is double edged.
Regal: This is an odd dangerous blade that absorbs the life energy of those it hits so even if a tiny cut is left on you will feel like a much more powerful blow and over time the small cuts will exhast oppoenets. Regal was the sword of the man who gave Kailin his curse which he got after he killed the man. Regal is another double edged European style sword but is slightly shorter than Durandal and is only a one handed sword.
Aureola: Aureola is a holy sword that gives off a soft white light and has a steady healing effect on those touching the sword(Slowly heals injuries over time). Aureola is a light weapon and will deal more damage to un dead creatures than to normal people. Kailin received Aureola from a priest who’s life he saved. Aureola is a light blade that’s bad against armoured enemies and like all of Kailin’s blades is double edged and European styled. (Aureola's effect is slow and only effects those holding the handle)
Basilikos: Basilikos is a sword Kailin got after killing a barbarian who claimed he had a magic blade which he did. Basilikos it a large double edged blade with a third edge connected to one side of the blade making it heavy than the rest of Kailin’s swords. Basilikos is enchanted with spells so that the harder the object the swords hitting the stronger the blade gets. Basilikos can cut through any armour no matter how thick or strong but when Kailin’s using it he is reduced to just above human speed due to the weapons massive weight.
Rienfleche: This is Kailin’s lightest blade and is only a short sword but it has several enchantments on it that make it a useful weapon. Rienfleche has an enchantment on it so whenever it’s knocked from Kailin’s hand or not in his hand it will magically fly back so Kailin uses this sword for throwing. Rienfleche has a special blade that absorbs light energy the Kailin can unleash into burst of focused light that can burn his enemies once it has gathered enough energy.
Armour: Kailin’s only armour is the metal on the backs of his gloves and his shoulder armour piece which also magically stores his swords. The shoulder armour piece is a light piece of shoulder armour Kailin wears on his left shoulder, the piece is made of white metal and consists of five overlapping plates each with a jewel on it that stores Kailin’s swords. This piece of armour is held there by two dark blue straps.
Abilities: Kailin knows only three proper abilities that all consume a small amount of energy but have a recharge timer and he can only use them every now and again. Apart from this Kailin has a couple of support abilities that are either always working or work only when needed.
Split Slash: Kailin breaks up into five versions of himself all of which have the same speed and skill as when Kailin’s normal. Kailin can only use this ability once every few days and only for a few seconds.
Blade Master’s Wrath: When Kailin uses this ability all his swords appear and circle round him while he naturally floats. While like this Kailin can make his and any other blade around him fly round under his control. Kailin can only use this ability for about two minutes every day.
Spirit Away: This is a protective ability that temporarily puts Kailin or anyone else he wants ‘out of phase’ for a few seconds protecting them from all damage. Kailin can use this ability on one target for 8 seconds and for every other target this halves. Kailin can only use this ability once every couple of days.
Float: This is a support ability of Kailin’s that prevents him from getting hurt by falls by automatically cast a levitation spell on himself making him move very slowly for the last few feet of the fall. This ability consumes a lot of energy and leave Kailin tired afterwards.
Sixth Sense: This is an ability that allows Kailin to senses dangers apporach and have a fair idea of what to be ready for.(This ability dosn't kick in often and this often bothers Kailin)
Magic: Kailin knows no magic.
Other Skills: Kailin has an aggressive transformation that happens when he hasn’t done enough good deeds and he isn’t strong enough to hold back his curse. When Kailin changes all the light around him is form round him to create an armoured shell while his body becomes inhuman temporarily. Kailin literally becomes a monster when he changes and will kill anything living it sees on pure instinct. This other form looks like an armoured human with wings made of the same metal as the armour. The only thing on the inside that’s visible is his glowing eyes which are pure white. Light emits from the gaps in the armour because of how much raw energy is held inside it. If the armour is broken all the light around the damaged section is absorbed so it is either reinforced to stop it from breaking or repaired. Kailin stays in this form for about a minute before he changes back completely exhausted. Every now and again Kailin will change if he’s done enough good deeds and if he does he has control over his changes.
History: Kailin has tried to forget most of his history or cut off his links to the past but he still remembers good things like his childhood and other happy events. From what Kailin could piece together he was born in the city of Canron and was raised in a wealthy family and so received a good education. Kailin’s father discovered his skill with the blade and sent him to a trainer Kailin’s only surviving past friend and mentor the blade master Mensor Facts.
Mensor raised Kailin like a son since Kailin’s real father liked his eldest sun Silver who is now dead better, Mensor finished Kailin’s education and trained him to his current sword skill and sent him on a mission to complete his training which changed his life. While on this mission Kailin was attacked by a Druid possessed by a demon who tried to curse Kailin but died as the curse left his lips meaning it was unsettled and did both good and bad things. After finishing his mission he headed back to his master who taught him to cover and clean the seal the curse had left and so afterwards Kailin went home to see his mother before he set of in his travels.
Shortly after Kailin arrived home the curse was unleashed for the first most powerful time and Kailin levelled the city of Canron in a few minutes and slaughtered many people when Kailin woke the next day he woke to a smouldering city and he nearly went insane but decided to go to his master and tell him what happened and Kailin’s master helped him. Kailin’s master forced Kailin out into his cursed form and used his magic and skills to seal away its power before doing something only he has so far been able to do; he changed Kailin back before he did any damage.
Since then Kailin has been travelling and helping people since he did such a horrible deed. Kailin preforms good deeds because of the memories he has of killing his friends, family and townsman and every time Kailin does a good deed these memories become lighter and the nightmares less often. So Kailin fights so god will forgive him for his terrible sin and so that the horrors in Kailin’s mind will leave. Kailin travels alone normally but will often travel with his master who is a swordsman and ex-court mage.
