I'm starting to get the feeling that the RPG images are never going to be recovered, so why don't we just A. Reupload as many images as we can find, or B. nuke the whole thing and start over?

It's kind of hard for people to play if "Please be aware that an administrator has turned the RPG offline!" greets everyone at the player menu.

lol I can agree more with you.

Due to what I've seen so far and what some members want (to play right NOW! ) I think that, this time I'll take the blue pill (erm this is not Matrix), I mean Plan "B"

I keep telling them to have some patience, and it seems that theirs are running out, seriously.


I know, a reset after all that sucks, specially for high level players. Though now, since we know the RPG better and have much more experience than before, I think that the RPG Team can make an excellent game in a week or so. We could just add it by sections. That way players will have something to do while we wonder what new thing should we add to make them feel better


Please, don't forget the chmod settings for pics directories that Koloth kept mentioning since....I forgot...

The main problem is we cannot upload images right now as well. I am beginning to wonder if DB is going to fix any of this problem. It has taken way too long.

Somebody, with FTP access, should at least fix the chmod issue. Also, fix the subdirectories to the items directory as well.

We cannot do anything until the RPG is functioning completely as it should. We have no FTP accesss. So we cannot fix the chmod issues ourselves. We just need to bug the powers who can.

What exactly is needed to get this back up? I'm not sure I understand the specifics...

Well certain directories need to have a chmod setting of 0777. I could look them up, in the RPG ACP, and post them in this thread.
