The ancient ruins of Mardenia...so present yet so ethereal to the knowledge of the nearby countries who seem to have forgotten the former splendor of this once, primeval and beautiful realm. The crumbling walls of these ancient edifices are eternally coloured with a soft, light brownish layer of dust. The sun, although shining brightly above like an ever-present and watchful monarch, treats these terrains gently, warming the land with its tender rays whilst the chilling winds of the north pass by.

-Julius vs. Damon-
You go first Teddie bowey :wacky:

Wandering aimlessly through the vast ruins. so similar to the ruins of his home, Jack slowly climbed his way through them as he passed through another area where death must have claimed the entire populace. There was no time for mourning, as such times had already passed by eons ago, there was naught for him here or anywhere so he slowly proceeded through the ruins, avoiding those close to crumbling. As he was halfway through the ruins he could sense someone nearby, closely followed by a scent on the wind, even for human senses it was easily known.

"Who's there?" Jack gripped his sword in his right hand and started looking around himself, then to above him. Someone was out here, and Jack would deal with them the same way he would anyone trying to sneak up on him.

ooc: Short but meh, least we started now xD

A man concealed in shadows emerged ominously from deep within the ruins of this ancient civilization. The man was clad in a heavy, dark silver armour, wearing heavy brown leather boots and a long black cape which is attached to his wide "V" shaped pauldrons. The identity of this man was well hid underneath a demon-like helm that had long, coiled horns. The helm only had two oval shaped orifices from which his flaming red eyes could be seen shining devilishly. The warrior's breath echoed all around the dust covered walls of these once mighty ruins. At first, the warrior felt intrigued by the presence of this mysterious swordsman, but then he concluded that he was probably just another bounty hunter wishing to seek fame and fortune. Disgusted, the devil-like warrior looked down to the mysterious swordsman from high above the semicircular balcony. His arms folded across his chest as he gave him a cold, scornful stare.

Suddenly, the man unfolded his arms and then with his right, gauntlet clad hand, reached the handle of his dreaded sword. Slowly, he unsheathed the blade from its resting place and then held it losely next to his right armoured thigh. The warrior then left the tip of the sword resting upon the concrete.

-"What are you swordsman? Another seeker of fortune?"
- The man hissed with such animosity as he kept staring down from his advantageous position. The man then lifted his sword and held it high, like a mighty obelisk standing high and virtuous on the middle of the barren sands. Consequently, a blinding light soon began to emanate from the core of his sword.

-"Now thou shalt be testeth...face the wrath of the Light of Judgment!"-

The man yelled vivaciously as he brought down the full weight of his sword in a semicircular moon fashion and launched a crescent shaped wave of purple energy towards the mysterious swordsman. If successful, the wave would cut through his flesh like a hot knife through butter.
