Serious Job Issues

okay, about a week ago i had an interview for HMV, this is a great job as its something I like (Films, Games etc), a few days after my interview i got a phonecall and have accepted a job their woooop.

now just 2 minutes ago i got another phone call from PC world, who have invited me along for an interview on monday.

now the problem is they are both awesome jobs which i would like too do. but i don't know what to choose. like i said i have been offered a job at HMV but if i go to this interview and get offered a job... what can i do :/

I guess it's just a case of weighing up the benefits/discounts/holidays/pay etc innit.

If you like them both, just go for the one that has the better staff perks

(and wil let you have time off over xmas )

HMV is an Xmas temp where as i think PC world is permanent, i'm going to the interview so i guess we will see what happens

I should really shoot you. I can't find a job and you're bringing up the fact that you can't choose between two!!? But, my advice would be take the job with the better benefits. Don't worry about discounts or perks you'll get for working there. Just be concerned with keeping yourself insured.

Unless I'm reading your opening statement wrong, the job at HMV is already secure? A decision henceforth depends entirely on what the perks PC World offer, so it would definitely be in your interest to probe HMV before the interview, and ask such questions at the end of the PC World interview.

At this point in time however, I would target job security - not something that offers a great job, but considers you expendable if a good existing employee doesn't quite take to you.

Might be worth an official pre-interview tour of the place, where you get to meet store management. Should help you.
