Why does iTunes suck so much? =/ I've tried 3 times to load it up now, and the first two times it had a massive hissy fit :| I'm only using it to store the music I want to put on my iPod next week. But it's just not having it...So, so far, not a big fan of iTunes.

Windows Media Player, on the other hand, has always worked perfectly, not once spazzing as bad as iTunes is right now. I prefer WMP over iTunes any day...

Which one do you prefer to use? I'm sure theres others, but these are the most popular...But, you can mention other music programs if you wish =]

I hear alot of bad things about iTunes, so I guess I'm lucky, it's nice to me most of the time.

WMP and Real Player sucked for me, because once I hit around 1000 songs (and I have 3459 atm), they would always freeze and couldn't handle the amount of songs. iTunes is the only program to not do that to me.

But on occasion, when I start it up it likes to say I have no music library...usually two or three tries later it'll load fine.

ITunes is usually fine for me, but I tend to just use it to port the songs over as opposed to playing them, I just plug my IPOd into speakers for that. The only real problem I have with ITunes is that it sometimes seems to eat up the CPU for no real reason, at times I can barely browse if it's up and running.

Have to say that I never had too much love for Windows Media Player though, it was fair enough back in the day when I was just moving over from CD players but now it just doesn't do it for me. I can't even put a finger on what exactly it is that deters me either.

I love Itunes, but it's pissing me off. It corrupted three songs I purchased. =/

Evilplayer FTW!

Ahem, on topic, I do like WMP better, it looks better, more customizable, just plain better.

An Apple product on a PC will suck. I hate Itunes and Quicktime and it is not because I have problems with them. Because I don't. I just don't like them. Apple products are going downhill fast. Nokia has a phone that is far superior to the Iphone. It may not be as pretty. But it has far more features and separate storage.

Also, WMP has more options.

Quicktime is such shit. As a matter of fact, you know how iTunes has the annoying tendency to update itself AND Quicktime together in a bundle? Well today I finally decided to stop ignoring it and update. It took a half hour. No joke. Funny thing was, it had installed all the components. It was just stuck on installation for a good 15 minutes or so.

VLC Media Player ftw! Does what you want it to - easy, simple - no hassel.

As for itunes I gave up on that a year ago once it started crashing on me everytime I loaded it up and I just generally don't like WMP for some reason >_<

I prefer Itunes over WMP just because i havent used Windows Music Player much. Ever since i started downloading music, Ive always put it onto itunes. Its never phailed me yet!

ITunes is for noobs, lol, just joking, or am I?

I use WMP, ITunes takes too long to load and I just can't get it to work.

WMP, on the other hand, is easy to customise, and heaps easy to create playlists, and it looks prettier, plus, i love the option of minimizing it andit becomes a little media button thingy
