The title refers to the heart when you get shocked by an unexpected situation, or a terrifying one. We've all talked about what scares us most, but this time, it's what shocks us.

Or, what was the most frightening experience of your life? Things that made you jolt even.
There's always that time, and I'm sure, absolutely sure, we've had an experience like that when we gasped/screamed/shouted out loud, "You might have just given me a heart attack!", or some other form in some other language even.
I've had many, so share as much as you dare type.
1.) Dreadful 'Queen of spiders' in my bathroom. Scariest, well, maybe not scariest...but it certainly did make my heart skip a bit when I first saw it, skinny 5 inch long legs and all.
Gave me quite the shocker really.

Then I made a run home, and went to the police station afterwards. Police patrol happened more often afterwards, apparently.
I swear I was so scared. I tought something seriously was gonna go wrong and I were going to fall into the ocean and drown.
