I actually did think this was a leftover April Fool's joke. Even though the thread was made in '06, I thought maybe someone snuck in and made a bunch of gramatical booboos to this thread. XD
Is it?
I haven't seen anything like this anywhere else on the forum, but I think I'll do some reading up just for giggles. ^.^

Now for the evaluation...First and foremost, welcome to Final Fantasy Forums. The forum staff would like to thank you for joining, and we hope that you'll enjoy your stay here.
Before you start posting, you should get yourself familiar with the place. Reading the rules, FAQs, and stickied threads are always a good to place to start.
Rules & Guidelines, and FAQ's
Each forum has it's own, or perhaps no stickied threads, but they'll always appear at the top for reference.
Library Headquarters
Second, if you're having some problems with the site, we suggest you check out the Library Headquarters, where you'll find many threads covering common issues that newcomers might have.
Help Desk
Still having problems? Then feel free to post a thread in the Help Desk, where the forum staff, as well as a dedicated team of Vetren Members will assist you with any further issues.
Also, keep on the look out for Forum Announcements, which will appear at the top of each forum.
Now that your more familiar with the forum, you might want to consider creating a Welcoming Thread. This a thread for you to introduce yourself to the members, and for them to introduce themselves to you. Like everything else, there are some guidelines that we recommend you following when creating your thread.
Rules for Posting Threads:
1. Only create one topic.2. No posting "late welcomes".
- There really is no need for more. You might want to consider posting some information about yourself, perhaps your favorite Final Fantasy game or what brought you to this forum. Something to catch other members interest(s). This can either be done in your introduction thread or in the Take Off Your Mask thread.
3. No reviving old threads.
- While many of you refrain from posting Welcome Threads when you first arrive, we ask that if you've been here for more then a month or two that you don't create one. By then, most people are familiar with you, which defeats the purpose of you creating one.
4. Don't "leave" unless you plan on leaving.
- As fun as it may be to go dig up ancient threads back when your favorite moderator was a newbie, we ask that you refrained from "Thread Necromancy." This is a place for welcoming new arrivals, not reliving old ones.
5. This is the Seventh Heaven Inn.
- If you plan on leaving the forums, and start a thread regarding this, please make sure that you are truly, honestly, leaving. Don't decided three days later that you can't bare the thought of not posting and come back. Now, it's understandable that if after a month or two, you do come back, but, it's rather upsetting (not to mention irritating) to see people have a "leaving" and "welcome me back" thread on the same page.
Now that we've gone over all the tedious stuff, feel free to enjoy yourself. Don't be afraid to start new threads, though run a search to make sure it's not a repeat. Don't be afraid to ask questions, or contact any one of the forum leaders if you feel like you need more help. It may seem like a lot to digest, but you'll get it soon enough.
- Which means, according to the forum description, that it's a member orientated area for introductions/departures/birthdays and member information in the designated threads. Questions should be posted in the Help Desk, and anything else in the appropriate forum. Name changing threads are not allowed, please announce name changes in your signature.
Thank you, be active, and most importantly, have fun!
So, even if a forum doesn't have any stickied threads, it will still have stickied threads at the top of the page for reference? Each forum has it's own, or perhaps no stickied threads, but they'll always appear at the top for reference.
