"Poverty is an acid that drips on pride until all pride is worn away. Poverty is a chisel that chips on honor until honor is worn away." - Jo Goodwin Parker
This is one of my favorite "is" statements. Looneymoon could probably correct me on the proper literature jargon but for now, it's close enough. The basic premise of these type of essays is to describe something intangible by calling it something tangible and describing why. I would like to see people here to try and accurately access themselves through an "is" statement. You're not intangible but your concept of self is. Describe how you see yourself by saying you are some physical object and why you're like that. Please put effort into this thread... it will be interesting to see what people come up with if they actually try.
All first sentences should start "[username] is" and then a following object and description.
