Is Kefka REALLY that easy?

Compared to final battles like Safer Sephiroth or Zeromus, Kefka was REALLY easy for me. I was actually disappointed at how easy he was. Kefka you're not suppose to let Sephiroth beat you!! Yeah but anyway, I started to think to myself, maybe the reason Kefka was so easy, was because I kept spamming Quick+Ultima on him with every character. Each Ultima attack did over 9000 damage (no DBZ reference intended), so with a strategy like that Kefka probabaly wouldn't have stood a chance. So my question is, is Kefka really easy or is Quick+Ultima just cheap? Because I never really got to see what Kefka could really do because I always beat him so fast.

I think it's just the fact that Ultima is really cheap. When I beat Kefka, I just spammed Ultima with Celes, Locke, Terra and Mog, and found Kefka to be really easy, since each of them were doing 9999 every turn.

I think if I didn't have Ultima, Kefka would have been far more difficult. xD

you guys suck, your supposed to use phoenix downs and watch your guys with 5k HP get 1shotted ;p

at least, thats how it went for me

but then again, i really kinda rushed through the game so it was probably a lot harder than it was for most others on me

I thought he was pretty easy, just took out one bit at a time, I only incurred one death aswel. Getting to him was the pain in the arse more than anything

I thought I was going to have a really hard time, because I never had Ultima, but I just hacked away and beat him, I normally die on my first attempt without fail on a final boss, I think Kefka, Chaos and Zeromous (sp) are the only ones Ive ever beat first time, not to say the latter were easy mind, I think it was just blind luck I got through those 2 alive

But yeah, I wouldnt say Kefka was all that difficult tbh =/

Zeromus took me a few tries to beat. I had to stop and level up before taking him on again. I was able to beat Kefka and Safer Sephiroth on my first try though. I was surprised I beat Sephiroth on my first try because all throughout the match I was thinking that I was gonna die and have to level some more...

Thought that Kefka was okay-ish. Then again was low-leveled, didn't have ultima and had no phoenix downs or potions..

But something felt strange with Kefka when was facing him the first time round managed to get up to the 3rd stage no problem but had to had quickly Game over when Mum came home from shopping

But when faced Kefka felt like the 1st and 2nd stages were a little more harder ? Just a Tad. Then had to Game over because forgot to put Celes and Sabin in the first row and then just got beaten down by him..?

Felt like Kefka got harder each time you failed..?
