Short History:
Germany is a country in Central Europe. Its borders are shared with Denmark, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea to the North, by Poland, Lithuania and the United Baltic Duchy to the East, by Austria-Hungary and Switzerland to the south and by the Commune of France, Flanders-Wallonia and the Netherlands to the West.

The German Empire is a Constitutional and Federal Monarchy composed of 29 different states, ruled currently by the Hohenzollern Dynasty. The Empire was formed on January 1871 following the Franco-Prussian War (1870-1871). As the main victor of the Weltkrieg, Germany emerged as the world superpower, a position held for the majority of the 20th Century and into the 21st Century. As the leader of the Pax Mitteleuropa Pact, it serves as the leading member of what most consider to be the most powerful military and economic pact in the world.

In addition, Germany also operates colonial possessions directly operated by governors appointed by the German Emperor himself. The sole exceptions are the Free State of Central Africa and the AoG, which operate fully autonomously from the empire.

The German Military is divided into four sections, the Reichsheer (Imperial German Army), the Shutztruppen (Marines), the Kaiserliche Marine (Navy) and the Luftstreitkräte. (Air Force)

The Reichsheer, also known as Das Kaiserliche Detusche Heer or Heer for short, is an efficient military force built upon the quality used by Prussia. As a national Army, it's main purpose is to defend German territory from invasion. The German Army's system is based on conscription, and Military service, although short, is performed in a very professional manner and provides a high quality of military training. Despite other nations within Mitteleuropa adopting this system, the lack of resources and/or highly educated officers hampers its use by other nations.

The German Army consists of 6 Panzer Divisions, which operate high-tier Mobile Suits, and Gundams, 8 Mechanized Divisions (Which operates Leopard 2A6 Main Battle Tanks and Mobile Suits), 4 Motorized Divisions, 4 Special Forces Battalions (including the famed 101st Airborne) and 2 Air-Mobile Brigades

The Shutzetruppen is a separate branch and is a fully professional force dedicated to the purpose of the defense of Germany's colonies, both on Earth (Malta, Ascunsion, Saint Helena, Mauritius, Reunion, Scychelles, Diego Garcia, Ceylon, Madagascar and German Somaliland) and in Space. There is a total of 8 Marine Corps Divisions all over the world and in space.

The Das Kaiserliche Marine, also known as the Kriegsmarine, is a strong naval force, consisting of 14 fleet carriers, 3 light carriers, 15 destroyers, 20 frigates, 7 battleships and 18 submarines. The Navy also has an extensive transport fleet to transport troops by sea. It is divided between two groups, the German High Seas Fleet (Deutschlands Hochseeflotte) and German Over Seas Fleet. (Deustches Auslandflotte). The German Space Fleet, also under the jursidiction of the Kriegsmarine, operates 4 Frigates and 6 Corvettes for Space Battle.

The German Luftstreitkräte (or Luftwaffe) employs 5 Wings of Long-Range Interceptors, each wing utilizing 4 squadrons of the new Messerchmitt Me-2000 Taifun, while they also employ a wing of 8 Strike-Fighter Squadrons equipped with the Paneuropa Tornado, a multinational aircraft built by Germany, North Italy, West Spain and Austria-Hungary. Four Wings of Transport Aircraft (Using the Airbus C-340) and 2 Wings of Intercontinental Strategic Bombers (Heinkel He-2000 Geist) round out the German Imperial Air Force.

Short History:
The Commune of France is a country in Western Europe. It is bordered to the east by Germany, Flanders-Wallonia, Switzerland and the Italian Federation, to the South by the Mediterranean Sea and the Spanish Republic, to the West by the Atlantic Ocean and to the North by the English Channel.

The Commune of France is a Socialist and Syndicalist Federal Republic composed of over 36,000 communes and is ruled by a dual structure, with the legislature branch being ruled by the Bourse Générale du Travail (General Labor Council/BGT) and the executive, ruled by the Comité de Salut Public (Committee of Public Safety/CSP).

The Commune of France was formed as a result of the French Civil War (1919-1920). The French National Republic refuses to recognize the Commune as the legitimate and legal governing body of all of France, and vice versa.

Since it's formation, the French Commune has sponsored various Syndicalist Parties around the world as leader of the Syndicalist Internationale. It's sole act of aggression as a state since the Weltkrieg being the takeover of the Romandy Region, or the French-speaking cantons of Switzerland in 1938.

The French Communard Military is divided into three branches, the L'Armée Populaire de la Commune of France (The Popular Army of the Commune of France), the Marine du Libération du Peuple (The People's Liberation Navy) and the Armée de l'Air du Peuple (The People's Army of the Air)

The Communard Popular Army is built based upon lessons learned from the Weltkrieg, the last war the Commune had ever fought. Originally, they learned from the Swiss style, with each commune responsible for its own defense, due to their beliefs that a professional army would be "anti-revolutionary" but as the threat of the German Army increased, and with the introduction of mobile suits and Gundams, the idea of a professional army was not only necessary for the survival of their ideals, but to take the fight to Germany is need be.

The Communard Popular Army consists of 9 Mechanized, 6 Armored and 6 Light Armored Brigades, the Numbers of Mobile Suits per Brigade depending on the name, with only the Mechanized Units allowed to operate Gundams in their regiment. In addition, there is a Division dedicated to Mountain Warfare and a Division of Army Airborne soldiers.

The Communard People's Liberation Navy is divided into two fleets, the Flotte de la Patrie based in Marsellies and the Fleet de la Normndie in Brest. The Atlantic-Channel Fleet is made to combat the Navies of Germany and Denmark whilst the Mediterranean fleet is made to combat the Fleet of the Italian Federation and the French National Republic. Between them, they operated a total of 3 fleet carriers and 4 light carriers, as well as a dozen smaller ships such as Guided Missile Cruisers, Destroyers and Frigates. Like Germany, the Communard Navy operates a space fleet, operating a small force of 3 Frigates and 3 Corvettes.

The Communard Air Force operates 600 aircraft, with 7 squadrons for interception (Mirage 2000C's and 2000-5F's) 6 Squadrons for Ground Attack (Mirage 2000D's and 2000N's) 6 Squadrons for Bomber Operations (Mirage IV) and 2 Transport Squadrons (CN-235)

The French Communard government currently has claims on several territories, the longest running claim is on Alsace and Lorraine, both regions originally owned by France (in 1648 and 1766 respectively) and is currently owned by the Germany Empire.

France also has claims on the lands of Savoy and Nice, the territories, which originally acquired by the Second French Empire (1852-1870) in 1860 following the Second Italian War of Independence (1859). Both regions are currently a part of the Principality of Sardinia-Piedmont, a member state of the Italian Federation.

Short History:
Japan is a series of islands located in Est Asia. Because it is an island nation, it shares no land borders, it's borders being dependent on the island in question due to the expansive control of various islands in the Pacific Ocean.

Japan's rule over it's colonial empire was assured after the Peace with Honor in 1921. As a result of the war, it's economic stability was in ruin and riots and natural disasters wracked the nation for most of the 1920's, this led to a rapid succession of coalition governments during the latter half of the decade which saw Japan intervene in the Chinese Civil War to protect Zhang Zhulin of the Fengtien Clique, later the Fengtien Republic.

Japan in the 30's and 40's went on to liberalize and democratize, the military allowing political parties to form in an attempt to create a much better standing with the international community. As such, in 1937, Japan would introduce an independent Korean Empire that would be the basis of the Japanese Commonwealth. Japan would spread its influence across China, Siberia and the Pacific, including the Pacific War of 1947-1950, and would become the foremost power in Asia.

The Japanese Military is divided into three branches, the Imperial Japanese Army and the Imperial Japanese Navy.

The Imperial Japanese Military was entailed to defend its interests in the Pacific, as well as a deterrent against pro-Mitteleuropan, and also pro-SCO and pro-Russian aggression. Conscription was abolished in the 1970's due to the fact that economic production was much higher than forcing men to serve in the army, and there was much interest in military life to create a more professional system.

The Imperial Japanese Army consists of 14 motorized light infantry divisions, 4 independent mechanized tank and infantry divisions, 2 airborne regiments, 2 special forces brigades, 1 armored division and 2 independent mobile suit and Gundam brigades. Their new standard Mobile Suit is the MS-052 Uesugi, replacing the earlier Zekuh models currently in service with the other Tokyo Pact members. In addition, there standard tank is the Type 90, while the earlier Type 74 is placed on reserve.

The Imperial Japanese Navy is considered to be the dominant naval force in East Asia and the Pacific. Consisting of 9 fleet carriers, 5 light carriers, 12 destroyers, 21 frigates and a large number of submarines, as well as a large transport fleet to carry troops by sea in a time when most militaries uses air transports, carried out by hypersonic intraspace transports. They also operate 4 Marine Divisions that comprise the IJN Land Forces.

Although there were many attempts to unite into a single air force, it was continuously and repeatedly shot down by the Army and Navy Ministries. The IJA Air Force operates 8 Interceptor Squadrons, 4 Multirole Squads and 4 Ground Attack Squads, as well as 2 Transport Squadrons.

The IJN Air Service operate 5 Air Superiority Squadrons and 3 Naval Bomber Squadrons on land, in addition to several additional shipborne squadrons.

Both air services use the Mitsubishi Ki-140 Viper Zero Type 6 as their primary aircraft.

Short History:
The Republic of India is considered to be the successor state to the Indian Empire/British Raj that ruled India since 1858. The Syndicalist Revolution that overthrew the United Kingdom in 1925 left the Raj, along with the rest of the British Colonies to fend for themselves. This led to a conflict between princes, rajahs, syndicalists and imperialists to fight over control of the sub-continent. The most famous being a conflict involving the unrecognized Sikh Confederacy which ended in the Battle of Armistar (December 1925)

The Governor-General of India would create an independent state in the Northwest of India in 1926, and later installed Muhammad Shuja Al-Mulk as the Crown Prince of the Principality of Delhi. Conflict between two opposing parties became the dominant factor in the 1920's and 30's, ending with the rise of the Republic of Delhi in 1938 as part of a joint compromise between the two parties. Delhi would be renamed the Republic of India in 1960 as a result of their nations claims on the entire sub-continent, thus bringing them into a cold conflict with all of its neighbors.

The Indian Military is divided into three groups, the Army, Navy and Air Force. India, despite being a member of the Entente, uses domestically modified mobile suits and weapons imported from the neutral Russian Empire.

The Indian Army is divided into ten Army groups, each containing 4 infantry divisions, 2 mechanized divisions, 2 motorized divisions and an independent Armored/Mobile Suit Brigade. There are also Brigades for Special Forces which operate independently from the Army Groups as well.

Short History:
With the revolution of 1925 going on in Britain, the Empire collapsed and India entered a power vacuum which various factions raced to fill. The creation of a federal state in the south was more an attempt by the local rulers to protect their lands and riches from the chaos that a pre-planned act of rebellion, but nevertheless it proved a successful means of doing so. Over the course of the 1920's the Federation managed to emerge as a stable nation, and one in which each of the local princes and rajahs had a say in government.

Unsurprisingly however, tensions have arisen amongst the lowers classes of society about their exclusion from the political process in the Federation, and the rajahs increasingly believe that Bengalese syndicalist influences are behind these cries of unrest. By 1936 Princely Federation has asserted control peacefully and by force across the entire southern part of the subcontinent, but further expansion is limited by the other two major regional powers to emerge from the vacuum - the Bharatiya Commune and the Principality of Delhi, the future Republic of India.

Over the course of the 1930's, the Princely Federation remained an isolationist burgher state, only opening up to Germany when a deal was made to allow Germany and the Princely Federation to jointly control the island of Ceylon, which was rescinded in 1964 during the political crisis in the country. Despite this, the Federation remained a member of Mitteleuropa to this day.

Military:

Each princely state maintains it's own professional army that is put under joint command in case of war. Larger and richer states also own navies and air forces. Most of their weaponry is imported from Germany, some weapons of older types are also purchased from the Qing Empire, Combined land forces of all princely states deploy 24 motorized brigades, 12 mechanized brigades, four armored brigades and 16 brigades of special forces.

The Federation's combined naval forces deploy nine frigates in total. These frigates, known as the Shivalik-class, were all built in the Mumbai dockyards in the Princely state of Maratha, and serve as guided missile frigates.

The Federation's joint air forces deploy six squadrons of short-range fighters and three squadrons of strike fighters. These aircraft are mainly from either Qing China or Germany, and their primary fighter is the He-290 Salamander (OTL MiG-29 Fulcrum)

Short History:
In the aftermath of the complete collapse of British control over India it was the syndicalist movement in that was first to act. Inspired by the revolutions in Britain the People's Republic of Bengal was proclaimed in Calcutta on the 19th of October 1925. However, the reality of the situation was not so simple. While the British garrisons were being withdrawn to the northwest (to what became Delhi), many other groups remained to oppose the new state. It was not until 1927 that Bengal was in a fairly stable and cohesive state at a local level, by which time the two other large Indian states of Delhi and the Princely Federation were already firmly established. Faced with deadlock in terms of expansion the government of Bengal chose instead to look inwards temporarily, rooting out 'imperialist sympathisers' and trying to repair the damage caused by the chaos of revolution. Bengal was also keen not to act too belligerently lest she incur the wrath of Germany, who was by no means pleased with the existence of yet another radical regime. During the 1930's, Bengal began operating on a foreign policy dedicated to unite India under their rule, and officially changed their name to the Bharatya Commune. The next 30 years saw them import the revolution to Nepal, Burma and Bhutan, while the Nepalese and Burmese had accepted Syndicalist tendencies (in 1962 and 1939 respectively), Bhutan resisted and even declared war on the Commune, a short war which ended with Bhutanese annexation into Bengal.

The Bharatiyan military is divided into three branches:

The Bharatiyan Ground forces deploy 25 motorized divisions, six mechanized divisions, one armored division and four special forces brigades. Although their military equipment is mainly from Britain and France, the Bengalese have smuggled weapons in from China, and as a result, share the same main tank as the Princely Federation, the Type 69.

The Bharatiyan Navy consists of one fleet carrier(Aung San), three destroyers, seven frigates and small submarine fleet.

The Bharatiyan Air Force is made of five short-range fighter squadrons and one strike fighter squadron. Unlike the tanks smuggled in, their primary aircraft, utilizing tech from both the German He-290 Salamnder and its Russian copy, the MiG-29 Fulcrum, was actually acquired through Bengalese spies who stole blueprints of the design.
