How come I get these message to my e-mail even I AM active here:

It is something that the forum does automatically when you are not activly posting everyday.

It is nothing but annoying and I hope DB has not turned them back on.

Just ignore them.
 
That's an automated message that sends out to the people who are inactive on the forums for the past 3 days by the system. And yes I have turned it online so no one could forget about this site. Also I have noticed that a few people who lost the link to FFF so I assume this mail would come in handy, at least. :)

And I believe it sends the mail weekly which is just fine I guess.

However many people including myself find them to be just plain annoying.

It is not hard to find this forum, just entering it's name on google will get you here. So it serves no purpose even if people loose their link to this site.

Also if you think people are going to forget about this site in a matter of days then you should ask if the site is worth remembering.
 
I go on this site everyday, except for when the site was down, but I got one of those about 2 days ago.
