Basically... what do you think the main characters of Final Fantasy would be doing or up to in ten years time. Would Cloud be dead ? Would Squall have 20 children ? Would Tidus be a hobo and living on the street ? It's up to you and your imagination ! Also no LTD agruements please, please... if somebody says that Cloud is going to be living with Tifa married, that is their opinion, and what they believe Cloud's future is going to be.

FF VI. I think that Terra would be living at the orphanage, and Edgar would be donating her money to help the orphans, books, toys, food, clothes etc. Gau is living with Cyan, and he can now fully speak proper english. Relm is a famous artist, however with Strago deceased she lives alone in Jidoor, but she's hugly rich, famous and wealthy. Celes and Locke are now married with a young boy that has Celes's looks but Locke's personality. Setzer is Relm's personal bodyguard, protecting her from any threats, and taking her on private airship rides.

Setzer has moved on from Daryl, and he's married to a new girl who is a mechanist and enjoys fixing airships for a living. Edgar has asked Terra out several times, they have tried dating in the past, because of both of them being busy with their duties, they have broken up after a couple of months of dating. Sabin is still wild and free and helping damaged towns from Kefka be repaired.

FF VII Cloud lives alone in Icicle village and sometimes goes snowboarding to keep active. Tifa still works at Seventh Heaven and Cloud and her still keep in contact. Marlene is the new Aeris and works in the Edge town selling flowers. Barret is now a proper father and takes extra care of Marlene in Edge. Red has found his mate, but they haven't had children yet. Cid and Shera have a son named Kain. Vincent and Yuffie are now dating and they live in the new repaired Niblehiem with Reeve and Cait Sith. Reeve has created a organization called the Neo- Shrina, and Neo- Soldiers, but they're for good and for helping the planet. Denzel is a 2nd class Neo- Solider. Reno and Rude have retired. Reno now lives alone in Rocket Town and Rude lives in Edge helping out Tifa and has even asked out Tifa on a date, Tifa refused still deeply in love with Cloud.

FF VIII Rinoa and Squall are married and have a young daughter. Irvine and Selphie are married also, same as Quistis and Seifer, and Zell and the Library girl. Laguna has told Squall the truth about being his Father, which lead to Squall disappearing for a month till Rinoa found him in Dollet. Squall is now the new headmaster of Balamb, and his daughter is also a sorceress like her mother Rinoa. Squall has changed SeeD to protect sorceresses and not kill them. Seifer is now also a best selling Fantasy novel writer, and his books selling thousands of copies. Rajin and Fujin live in Balamb harbor town, and Cid and Edea have a made a new orphanage with a new generation of children.

FFIX Steiner and Beatrix are now married and now are King and Queen of Alexandria. Zidane and Mikoto lost their 'time' and are now deceased with Kuja and Vivi. Garnet gave birth to Zidane's children, a young girl and boy with Zidane's tails. Garnet lives and her children live with Marcus, Grandfather Baku, Blank and Ruby in Treno. Freya and Sir Flatery re discovered their love for each other, and are still dating, but Freya is always worried about their relationship together. Eiko is princess of Lindblum, and looks like Garnet did during the original game, Cid removed her horn. Amarant and Lani are still bounty hunters and have a sexual relationship. The Vivi children live in Alexandria with Steiner and Beatrix. Steiner and Beatrix have adopted a young orphan Genome from the Black Mage village and they're training her to become a strong knight.

Garnet misses Zidane and Vivi everyday, and each day she sings Melodies of Life outside her bedroom window, believing in her heart that Zidane's spirit hears it.

FF X Yuna and Tidus live in Besaid and are married, however they can't have children due to Tidus being a dream. Tidus is the new captain of the Besaid Bitzball team. Rikku and Paine still travel the world looking for spheres and Gippal and Baralai have joined them, they constantly have parties and get drunk in Luca. Lulu and Wakka's child is a clone of Wakka, but he is a expert of Black Magic like Lulu is. Yuna spends most of the time being like a aunt towards Wakka's child, and his babysitter, and telling him stories about Sin. Yuna also dreams about adopting, but she's worried that she won't be a excellent mother like she feels Lulu is being, but truth is Wakka's child would rather hang out with Tidus and Yuna !

FFI - Since everyone forgets everything about the fiends, warriors, etc, nothing much will change. The warriors of light will probably stay as wanderers and not likely to be acclaimed as heroes, which is quite a sad thing after all that they have done.

FFVII (may be inaccurate since I haven't played DoC) - Cloud and Tifa are not married, but slowly develop relationship beyond friendship (you know what I mean). Cloud decided to stay permanently in the new Seventh Heaven with her, Marlene and Denzel. Tifa resumed the bar and delivery service. Barret also stays there since he loves Marlene so much. Vincent goes back to his coffin, while meeting Red XIII-2 frequently, as they promised. Red XIII found a secret settlement filled with his own species. He decided to stay there.

As Aeris is a Cetra, she can manifest herself and remain sentient in the lifestream, constantly watching over the world's peace. Reeve decided to let Cait Sith work in Golden Saucer and gave him proper artificial intelligence instead of Reeve merely controlling him. Cait Sith became a famous fortune teller there. Cid married Shera and together they managed to create a new rocket and became the first ones to land on the FFVII moon. Yuffie became a protector of Wutai, succeeding her father. She makes materia the currency of the town.

FFVIII - Squall and Rinoa get married sometime before the 10 years. But throughout these years, Rinoa was outcasted by many because she has sorceress powers. One day, Dr Odine kidnapped Rinoa and experimented on her powers, he accidentally removed her powers. However, since there is no living sorceress to inherit the powers, this 'power' keep existing in a dormant, bodiless form. After hundreds of years, this 'power' became sentient and turned into Ultimecia herself, completing the power cycle. i.e., Ultimecia transferred powers to Edea, Edea transferred powers to Rinoa, Rinoa's powers become Ultimecia, Ultimecia transferred powers to Edea, so on. in the distant future.

Dr Odine then returned Rinoa to Squall. Since Rinoa is free from the sorceress powers, they live happily ever after as headmaster and headmistress of Balamb Garden. Balamb Garden still trains students to prepare for Ultimecia who will manifest in hundreds of years.

Selphie and Irvine became a couple. They occasionally go on train rides together. Quistis decided to have a second try on teaching. She persevered and became a well-liked instructor. Zell succeeded as owner of the cafeteria in Balamb that sells flavoured buns 24/7. Edea and Cid agreed with Squall to merge the orphanage with Balamb Garden. Balamb Garden, aside from being a school, is also an orphanage for children. They live happily ever after as peace-loving matrons while mentoring Squall and Rinoa as their successors.

Laguna stayed as President of Esthar. He finally told Squall he is his father. Squall ignored him for months, but eventually came to accept the truth and occasionally land Balamb Garden on Esthar to visit him and keep the peace between Balamb and Esthar territories (by the way, Galbadia is no longer the power-hungry state it used to be). Ellone was kidnapped along with Rinoa by Dr Odine for his crazy experiments. He also accidentally removed her time-travelling powers and made the junction machine Ellone from the remnants of the power (which will be used by Ultimecia in the distant future). Ellone was returned and live as a secretary to Laguna, who took her as a daughter. Kiros and Ward become Esthar ministers. Ward went for speech therapy and regain abilities to talk after a few years. Seifer, Fujin and Raijin rejoined Balamb Garden as combat instructors.

FFIX - Zidane and Garnet got married. they soon become peace-loving queen and king of Alexandria. After ten years, a new sentient race emerged, the black mages. This species of black mage is a cross between those in the black mage village and Vivi's sons. Magically, the new black mages have the same lifespan as humans. Eiko became Queen of Lindblum after Cid IX and his wife retired. She maintained sister-like relationship with Garnet. Steiner and Beatrix obviously get married and have lots of children.

Steiner relaxed a bit and learn to trust people. Freya and Sir Fratley made a new town from Cleyra and Burmecia remains. Sir Fratley regained memories and they got married. Quina became a world-famous chef and frequently cook for banquets in Alexandria and Lindblum under the requests of Garnet and Eiko. Amarant decided to travel the world for adventure. He married Lani in the end. Kuja was actually dead, as he used his remaining powers to teleport Zidane to safety when Iifa tree collapses.


FFX - can't say much because I haven't played X-2. But surely Tidus and Yuna lived happily ever after since the perfect ending of X-2 let Tidus return.


FFXII - can't say much as I haven't played Revenant Wings. I don't really care about the characters either. I should replay XII to give the game a second chance.

FFXIII - have to wait for XIII-2 for a better 10-year prediction.

Well...

FFI - The Warriors of Light have had enough, and are finally getting names longer than six letters. Garland has altered his tactics - he is leaving decoy princess that turn into rats in various castles, just to piss everyone off.

FFIV - As nobody loves them, Golbez and Kain finally realise their love for one another and start a relationship fraught with trials. Tellah is put in jail, after improper "tutoring" of Palom and Porom in the art of magic. Rydia has killed Edge for being a pervert and for screaming "DAMN IT ALL!" every time she rejects his advances, and Ceodore has changed his name to "Dave" because he's tired of being ridiculed. In the meantime, Cecil and Rosa have another child, a girl. Called something like "Roseup" or something equally preposterous.

FFV - Bartz falls to the Dark Si--I mean, the Void, and destroys the world. Except for Gilgameshland. That place is too much fun to destroy and, for some reason, it keeps on phazing in and out of existence.

FFVI - Terra remembers everything that happened in Dissidia. Driven mad by events, she destroys the entire world in a very Kefka-like fashion.

FFVII - JENOVA has spent the last ten years building up a castle which contains all her spare body parts, as well as a resurrected Sephiroth who spends his days on a throne, drinking wine from glasses which he throws onto the floor at random intervals. After trekking through the castle to defeat Sephiroth AGAIN, Cloud is greeted by Aerith, who returns from beyond the grave to tell him to grow up, prompting him to go on a drinking spree and end up sprawled in an alleyway...with Yuffie. Tifa finds them both, smothers Yuffie with her enormous breasts - which now require steel braces to stop them from dragging her to the floor - and then leaves them, leading Cloud to believe that he's killed her. He's so overjoyed by this that he develops a personality. In the meantime, Genesis has started up an opera theatre with Ultros, who is there for the sake of a cameo appearance, because someone got a hold of the script and decided it actually needed a character with personality in it. Vincent Valentine has fallen in love with Tifa, and now sparkles - after a tense battle, Tifa chooses Cloud, leading Vincent to stake himself - and Cait Sith and Red XIII have long since committed suicide, because nobody pays them any attention. One Winged Angel has been remixed four-hundred times in the meantime, and the Shinra corporation, after investing in Final Fantasy XIV, has collapsed entirely.

FFVIII - The characters are getting along as best they can after Squall's death at the hands of Edea, who has now enslaved the world and is commanding them to perform every day for her - she got bored of Time Compression after a year or so and brought everyone back in some time paradox that is never explained and wouldn't be understandable anyway - and her knight, Seifer, has taken Rinoa for his prized doll. She doesn't seem to mind too much. Selphie is now a train conductor - suicides on the tracks have never been higher - and Irvine is trying to live up to his dream of becoming the next John Wayne. Quistis developed a new form of Triple Triad, played on motorcycles. It never really took off. Cid was put in prison because Balamb Garden violated child labour laws, Laguna died due to a blood clot in his leg, and Ellone was killed by Daleks because she broke the space-time continuum boundaries one too many times. Zell is now the mascot for a chicken takeout place on the outskirts of Galbadia. Most people have forgotten all this due to excess GF usage, which has become more popular than drugs.

FFIX - Rocks fall. Everyone dies. The Master of Life and Death, Necron, returns, only to be killed again. Nobody really cares.

FFX-2 - Rikku has since abandoned clothing, much to the delight of her fanboys, because she is now legal across the globe...but a life of nothing but partying and accidental pregnancy means that she now looks like a cross between NORG and Queen Brahne. Brother has now become Sister, Tidus has vanished *again* and Yuna, now a retired pop idol who has shaved all her hair and spends her time doing Sudoku puzzles, can't be bothered to search for him. Wakka and Lulu have split up, because Wakka developed a "liking" for Paine, who cut herself once too often five years previously and bled out on the stairs of their small shack.

FFXII - Vaan was killed by the Black Plague, prompting Larsa to attempt to court Penelo...much to her horror, for he has barely grown and is even more effeminate than before. But beggars can't be choosers - as Vaan found out - and she is now Queen of Archadia, so it could be worse. She is having an affair with Al-Cid, because Balthier turned her down. Balthier now sits on the throne of Dalmasca, juggling Ashe, Basch and Fran expertly with his charm and manly good looks. The Occuria are holding regular evil councils which inevitably end up being movie nights.

FFXIII-2 - Serah has now become a Pokemon Master, having captured one of every monster...and reveals herself to be Barthandelus, who proceeds to unleash chaos upon the planet. He isn't happy that his l'Cie didn't fulfil their Focus like he politely requested. Lightning, in the meantime, now believes she is a Sailor Scout, and has swapped her Valkyrie ripoff costume for a schoolgirl uniform and some magical accessories. She fights evil by moonlight, and attempts to win the love of Sazh by daylight...neither of which she does very successfully, for she seems incapable of running in anything but a straight line. Snow has developed a beer belly and spends all his hours watching the FFXIII equivalent of the Jerry Springer Show, polishing Hero trophies he made for himself. His friends from NORA have gotten real jobs: Lebreau is a tavern wench, Yuj is a hair stylist, and Gadot is a TV icon. Hope died prior to this, alone and forgotten in some back alley nobody cares about. Causes of death are unknown. Vanille and Fang are still crystal, because nobody wants THAT unleashed on the world again. Despite spending his entire life on Gran Pulse, Noel got lost somewhere. Nobody bothered looking for him.

Versus XIII - Noctis and Stella are still wondering if their game will ever be released.

FF1: Well the cycle repeats itself.

FF2: Firion get's what he dreams off a world without war and roses.

FF3: The children go back to what they did before the events of ff3 to live a normal life.

FF4: Cecil does something with the moon.

FF5: Bartz and Boko run freely around the world.

FF6: Terra retuns to mobliz to care for the children and Duane and Katrins new baby. Edgar continues to run Figaro castle by himself. Gogo continues being a mime and follows people around the world. Cyan returns to Doma castle to get it back up again with inhabitants. Gau runs up and down the Veldt learing new rage skills. Locke and Celes are happily married and looking for treasures together and fulfilling Rachels wishes. Sabin carries on after duncan teaching people martial arts. Relm becomes Owzers peronal artist. Mog lives with Terra as her biography states she likes moogles. Umaro goes back to the Narshe caves, and finally Setzer travels the world with his airship.

FF7: Clouds still emo

FF8: Squall and Rinoa get together along with Selphie and Irvine and they all go to Balamb Garden.

FF9: Garnet and Zidane get married (Again) Vivi dies. Quina becomes a chef. screw this it shows you anyway.

FF10: Havn't finished X-2 so idk.

FF12: Revenent wings?

FF13: Well seen as Lightning dies in XIII-2 everyone lives happily ever after.

FFI - The Light Warriors never meet each other because technically their journey never happened, Garland marries Sarah and becomes the King of Cornelia, and takes over the world. The LW live out their lives wondering why they keep having strange dreams about Four Fiends and time travel.

FFII - Firion and Maria marry, live in Fynn and have lots of kids. Guy becomes a chocobo breeder and domesticates the species. Gordon and Hilda marry and live happily ever after. Layla is a filthy sailor for the rest of her days.

FFIII - Ingus becomes the new king of Sasune with Sara. Luneth and Refia have a tumultuous relationship, because Refia and Desch had a thing going. Eventually Refia becomes a mad scientist
Arc becomes the adviser to King Alus.

FFIV - I think After Years explains it all.

FFV - Krile is Queen of Bal, Lenna Queen of Tycoon, has an illegitimate child with Bartz who runs off into the blue, maybe runs into Faris a few times (who also remains a filthy sailor to the rest of her days ;-p)

I'm skipping VI because there are way too many characters to go through...
Though I would imagine Celes goes on to become a famous opera singer and marries Locke. Then, after a freak accident involving Ultros and a 10ton block, Celes's body is kept in Locke's basement, though disfigured beyond repair.
Terra finally falls in love with someone, and continues caring for children as well as having her own.

VII - Cloud and Tifa finally marry. Adopt Denzel and have their own children. Sephiroth periodically returns to wreck some havoc every ten years or so, until eventually he gets sick of it and goes to find another planet. Barret and Marlene live together, maybe Barret meets another lady.
Yuffie is a travelling Materia thief, then becomes the new Omni-God of the Wutai Pagoda.
Vincent changes his name and eventually meets a girl called Bella and start the Twilight Saga.
Shera marries Cid and has to tell people she fell down the stairs and walked into doors.

VIII - At some point Seifer and Quistis get together, Selphie gets sick of Irvine's womanising ways and gets with Laguna, and together they start a technological revolution. Rinoa starts acting strangely after a few years...
Garden becomes a regular school where kids learn math and literature and other normal stuff. Squall hands leadership of the Garden to Nida.
Zell opens a dojo and becomes a hotdog connoisseur.

IX - Massive political and social uproar when Queen Garnet wants to marry a bandit with a monkey tail, as well as revealing she is not of royal blood whatsoever. The Alexandrian bloodline being extinguished, there is much indecisiveness about who should ascend the throne. Garnet remains queen, but never marries. Zidane has a brief fling with Ruby but never settles, travelling the world as an accomplished theater actor.
Freya and Sir Fratley rebuild Burmecia and Cleyra.
Quina becomes head chef at Alexandria Castle.
Steiner and Beatrix remain loyal to Garnet til the end of their days.
Eiko is taught the arts of building airships from Cid and continues his legacy of technological advancement.
Amarant...who cares?

X - Tidus and Yuna have a massive fight and he goes pop! and disappears.
Wakka and Lulu produce the next blitzball star.
Rikku is the spokesperson for the Al Bhed, and is spreading their technology over the world with Yuna.
Kimahri is the elder of the Ronsos.

XII - Ashe is a Queen Elizabeth I, Vaan and Penelo do their sky pirate thing...
Balthier and Fran make hybrid babies and spawn a new race.
Basch spends the rest of his life trying to get into Ashe's petticoats.

XIII - Guess we'll have to see after the sequel...:wtf:
