I'M SAD I'M SAD I DON'T WANNA BE,
cause my version of FFVII has gone annoyiiiing.
when I play and play having some fun,
killing monsters with barret's gun!
all the sudden the screen goes black.
A window comes up and I can not go back.
the window says That My game has an error
and it just fills we with terror.
I scream, I curse, It is getting worse!
I'M SAD I'M SAD AND I DON'T WANNA BE
PLEEEASSEE COME AND HELLPP MEEE!!!!

Translation:
I'm annoyed and I hate it, When I begin or end a battle.
Just in the middle of having fun, my screen goes black, then goes
back to windows with a window that says: ff7.exe has encountered an error and needs to close. I have a crazy spaz, then i lose my work in the game and I need help.

I wrote this song myself =)

Erm, nice one. ^_^ Hmm, so your screen turns black? Did you restart it? Does it keep turning black? If so, try this trick that I tried when the same thing happened.

When the screen turns black again, switch the discs. Put disc 2 in and see if that works. I did that and it worked again...then later on, I switched it back to disc 1.

Mind you, try it on your own risk. ;) I mean, if the game keeps turning black and freezing, then I'm guessing the game's broken. So might as well take the chance, eh?
 
FFG uses PC version. You should really tell people before hand man. Anyways, it just crashs. Try and free up ram and such and uninstall programs you don't need and then do a Disk Cleanup and a Disk Defragger, that might help.
 
I have to say, that was a great rhyme hehe...

but yeh, sometimes when im playing games on the PC, i find my game is lagging. Thats because some programs were running without my knowing. Try Ctrl alt delete, which takes you the windows task manager, then browse around to see if there are programs which you didnt intend to run. Thats what i did, but could be different for you
