Anyone who clearly feels as if this man wasn't as great as the whole world made him out to be, come join and rant about the loser Balthier :P .

I dont hate his attitude....

I just hate the fact that he sucks in battle...and his crappy Quickenings made me angry ><

Also, he gave up Fran for Ashe - thats just retarded ><

But anyway, I love Balthier. ^_^ Sorry Judge Rulia, but you cannot stop me. I normally don't like to break rules, but this is an exception. :P

Ok, but just to be fair, I don't like his "I know it all" attitude. It's kinda annoying. Moreso than Vaan's "I don't know anything" attitude.

Well....He let Ashe fall in love with him :P thats bad enough XD

I must say though i liked His scene where he was carrying Fran <3

but then again it annoys me that the only time he looks cool is when he's with Fran :dry:

I just dislike his outfit......
 
I actually don't know what to think of his outfit. Sometimes I feel like it has to go. I'm thinking black would suit him better. Mask of Zorro, anyone?

I'm kidding. That would be horrible.

Anyway, other times I feel like it suits his character. I mean, he IS a sky pirate after all. Don't ask me how I know how a sky pirate should dress like - I have no clue. I just thought everything kinda fits. =) His clothes has that renaissance feeling to it, you know? I don't know if that actually fits the time period though... =/

Oh and his hair. Is it kinda curly or something? I can't seem to tell. Looks like spiked but curled...I don't like it. =/
 
I'm going to make an effort not to use him whatsoever - when he joins my party, I'm going to have it so that only Fran will help me out. I have to have Ashe as a guest so...ick, I'll have to cope with her. Lol.

I've noticed that he looks different in FMV's then he does in cutscenes, and his design in cutscenes doesn't seem to attract me all that well =x

Balthier is way too cocky for his own good, but he's also JUST the character that XII needed to piece together the story. A former judge, son of a crazed and evil Doctor Cid, he is the perfect candidate for someone like Vayne. But instead he is the total opposite. True, he still does carry the cocky traits of his father and a judge, but his overall personality is different. He also hangs out with Fran, someone similar but different than him... his other side basically. They are both rebels and ran away from what they're own society and kin tried to force them to be. But Fran is Balthier's instinct and quiet side.
