If you found $1000...

Even if the old guy was running...towards it, i would snatch it up and run. If the old man persued me...I would punch him in his big ugly nose.
Then the money would be mine...then i'd steal his wallet and his shoes...and his kane.
 
Id spend it on a holiday for me and my grandmother. We've both had stressful years so far and the sun would be great for her knees as shes just had a knee operation.
 
If I found one thousand dollars I would go crazy, first I'd buy a ps3 and all the games I've wanted, then I'd spend the rest on with friends, on food and personal things.
 
I'd have to be honest here, if I saw someone drop $1000 I'd have to give it to them back, I don't think I could live with the guilt... But if I just found this $1000 lying around it's all mine! :D hehe! >_<

And i'd use it for a holiday, or travel round Europe or something mad like that, I need a vacation!:P
 
If it was in a wallet or i knew who dropped it i would return it and hope for a reward or hand it in to the police becasue if its not claimed in 6 months the police have to give it back to the person who found it.
If it was just lying there then i would spend it. if someone found out i took it and had a go at me i would say something like "you were stupid enough to loose it so tough! and if that still bothers you, im poor so think of it as giving to the needy!!"
 
I'd spend some on FFX games and a new computer... Save the rest as I'm not too good at saving XD
 
With $1,000 you can't buy a plane ticket to Tokyo or Rome. :/

If I found $1,000 in a paper bag just laying around I would be afraid to take it. I would check around first to see if anyone is staring at me awkwardly.

With a $1,000....I can be smart and store it in my bank account. Maybe I would run out and buy a nintendo Wii, a Xbox 360 and some games. I could go to Kinokuniya book store and spend some of it there. I could be really stupid about having $1,000 by driving to Neiman Marcus and buying a Chanel bag.
 
I'd return it cause as we all know finders keepers does not apply to money. That makes it stealing and that's wrong, bad and morally unnaceptable. Besides the person who lost it might end up being nice and give you some of it as a reward.
 
If there was a way to return it I would try. But $1000 in unmarked bills is very hard to identify. Maybe give it to the police? But who goes to the police for anything? If I lost $1000 I wouldn't ask the police for help. It'd be a waste of time.
 
How much would it suck if 60 minutes was doing a hidden camera thing.... how embarassing lol... I couldnt live with myself if i saw myself on TV trying to hide my face and the 60 minutes guy hasseling me about the money...

The cheapest tix from the states to Europe for the slow season and on sale are over $1,500 so you wouldn't be able to afford the trip to Europe... If you factor in food and lodging, not to mention entertainment the best you can hope for is a weekend in a different state...

I assume you'd buy the 60 GIG PS3, and that's $600 (American), roughly $100/10 GIGs. With tax, that'd come out to a little under $700, then you'd have to end up buying at least one more controller, which is ~$50 + tx so ~$57 - $60. Games for the PS2 run upwards of $45. Since the PS3 doesn't come with an HDMI cable you'd have to purchase one separately and they don't come cheap. So that's another ~$50 - ~$65. And in reality, you'd probably buy more than just one extra controller, so in the end, you end up not having much...

Your new machina would not be very useful for FFXI. With one grand it'd be very hard to budget in a powerful machine and a popular MMORPG.

I wouldn't trust the police. if someone didn't claim it, they take it for them selfs. The police are a corrupt piece of america that shouldn't be around. I'd rather die 1,000,000,000 deaths than be a cop, who uses power as an excuse to be racist, beat the hell out of ppl, or steal from poor or needy ppl. And, I know if someone found 1000$ they would keep it Even if they say they wouldn't. It's just the way things work out.

So yeah, i'd have to say, If i found 1000 dollors. Even if it fell out of the person in front of me's pocket, Id take it. Cuz well finding 10 dollors would help my family out.
I'd give it to my parents so we could pay bills, and they could put some in the bank to save. And if the guy came looking for it, I'd say "Yeah, I picked it up, but I dropped it on the way home to"

lol, yes I know that wouldn't leave me with much money in the end but still I'd still do it because I want a PS3 so bad, there's also the fact that I'd have to get a HDTV because PS3 won't play on a standard televison set. So that's more money...
 
I wouldn't take the money for myself. I work for my own money so who cares! Just give the money to the owner (whoever that is) OR just leave it there and run away!!

I would keep the money. If you turn it in to the police, any schmo could just waltz in, and say, ''Uhh....yeah, that money is mine.''

Nope. My 60 Gig PS3 runs perfectly on all of my tvs. My LCD screen, my parents Plasma screen, and my old standard CRT screen.
