Every time I try to change my icon it says "Unable to save" and then doesn't change my icon/avatar. Can anyone help?
 
Try linking it instead of uploading from the computer? Or vice versa.

.png files? .jpg files? What file does it happen with?
 
It might be too big (dimension wise) or more likely, the file size is too big. I think if you change one of those, it should work.
 
Well, it's not too big. It's not the wrong file extension. And I've tried linking AND uploading it. But it's just not working.

You should be able to link the "Don't use my avatar" what if you click that, then save, then try uploading it again? :hmmm:

I've tried Tiny pic, livejournal, photobucket and my computer.

And now I'm iconless.
 
Try re-saving in GIMP maybe? And save it as .png or if you did that, as a .jpg?

I thought it was the file thing messing up but I changed it to a GIF, then a JPEG and the same thing happened.
 
...o_O That's just bugging me I don't know what's wrong with it now.

Do you have any links to the avatar? I can try editing it in via the MCP, and if it doesn't work then, I'm baffled.

I know there was a huge avatar problem a year or so ago, when lots of people couldn't edit their avatars themselves, or have avatars edited in by the MCP, so I'd like to rule that out too.
 
o_O... Nope. I even tried to change it to an .png
 
try using: http://i37.tinypic.com/34ihgs7.png as the link. I have that problem with Tinypic all the time. It auto-names them with .jpg at the end but the image is png so the site has problems with them.

Edit: Oh wait, Kira tried that. =/
 
It won't edit in via the MCP either. O_O I've even tried saving it and uploading it from my PC, and it's not working.

Is it just that image that isn't working, or all avatars in general?
 
no, every avatar I try to save it ends up going a-wall.
