Help I need to get the monk to leave !

Hi.
I have beaten all 4 chocobo races, and have the Sun sigil, sun crest and the celestial mirror, but the monk wont leave!

The thing is, that I got him to leave after I won the races, but at that time i did'nt have the celestial mirror:oops: , so could just go down and get a message saying that i needed the celestial mirror....OK thats done...

But the monk is BACK at his post telling me to leave, and the chocobo trainer is just riding around and NOT asking me to race!!

What do I need to do ?

i meant to edit in, i dunno why she aint letting you re race again, but thats what you need to do

The race is in the train chocobo section and If I remember correctly you have do the catcher chocobo race where your running against the trainer finish the race with a time of 0.0.0 the monk should leave the area after the race.

If the chocobo trainer doesn't give you any option's what does she say to you?
 
He says:
*If you are lost follow me to... (belville)
*Don't run around to lang...you'll die!
*I ride chocobos to get around
*Smart ppl use chocobos to avoid fiends.
Edit: *He compliments me because I've done so good training with chocobo.
He dosent give me any questions...he just speaks.

Have none of you been down there without the right mirror and then return again, only to be stopped by the monk, who returned to his duty?

Ive done it, fionished the race, only to remember i dont have the mirror and the monk fool wont let me pass

shes usually near the travel agency and you should be able to race her again :hmmm:
 
I think you're talking to the wrong person. I'm pretty sure the trainer doesn't ride around, but just stays near the travel agency. There's another person on a chocobo riding around as well, but they're not the person you want for chocobo training.

Go check by the travel agency. :wacky:
 
As above. The trainer is either by the Travel Agency, or on the Western-most side of the Calm Lands.
 
When I land in the calm-lands (by air-ship) I start at the travel agency...then thers a person on a chocobo, saying to me: congrats on the training...afterwards the person rides to the west and east, and if I talk to him/her:

*If you are lost follow me to... (belville)
*Don't run around to lang...you'll die!
*I ride chocobos to get around
*Smart ppl use chocobos to avoid fiends.

No other persons to the east, besides the monster arena guy.
To the North is the guy looking out into the canyon...saying bla bla bla.
South = no persons
In the west theres some chocobos just walking around, and i can ride them but no race. northwest is the monk and my Caladbolg.. :sad2:

Thanks...will give it another go in a couple of hours (going to watch a movie now)....will let you know how it goes :starwars:

EDIT: I got it to work...It seems that when you meet the chocobo trainer out in the field and he says: "if you are lost follow me to belville" then she walks across the calm lands and ends up standing still at the 3rd spot on this map, and then when you talks to her, she ask you how she can help you, and then you can choose ride --> race, and then themonk leaves :neomon: = YAY I got the Caladborg :dance: :freehugs:

barly beat the traner and the monk will be suprised and ps wait till she stops

If you have read my last post You would have noticed that I have figuered it out, so no need to post.
