I need help. Once again.

As many times as I have played VII, I still CANNOT remember how to get Vincent. I've opened the damn safe, gotten the materia, and have beaten the boss that comes with it. Now how do I get Vincent from that basement? Where do I go?

Well, if you've beat the monster that comes out of the safe, go to the basement and go through the door thingie that's on the side, and Vincent should be there in his coffin.

Go to the screen where you can see the basemen't door. Don't enter, instead, go north. The wooden door that was locked before is not locked anymore!

Approach the closed coffin.

Tell him about Sephiroth and he'll return to sleep.

Wake him again and get him to tell you his name.

He'll go back to sleep again, but on your way out of the Shin-Ra mansion, he'll stop you and join the team.

You've done it! You have Vincent. This dude is one helluva kickass character with a strange origin. He will prove most helpful to you in future battles.
