I have to put my face on!

I see some right states walking around, too much foundation and blusher usually, and it's even worse when it smudges because it's too warm out or something, so they either look orange and patchy or brown and patchy with great big splodges of blusher on their cheeks. I mean srsly, do they look in the mirror and think damn, I look good?! It IS worth getting a decent make, yes it might cost a little more but at least its better quality.

The only thing Im guilty of is wearing too much eyeshadow sometimes, even then Il try to fix it by getting a lighter colour to blend it in some

I don't wear any make-up at all.

In this hot country, people don't go around wearing make-up unless it's required (job, event, etc.). Some wear powder at most.

Yeah, I just usually wear stuff on my eyes to make them look nicer. But for some reason it allllways smudges and I end up looking creepy. :( I constantly have to wipe under my eyes and there are always smudges there. :stare:

I can't stand lipgloss, I think that the stuff is disgusting. I wear lipstick sometimes, but if I don't have the time then good ol' chapstick will do.

I suppose it could be how you're raised. Me? I was taught that putting on make up was as important ( for a woman ) as taking a shower or brushing your teeth, combing your hair, etc. It's a must have, must do, deal. Ha ha - I guess that could be considered bad by some and in a way, it is. If I leave the house, without it on, I feel like I'm going out into public not looking my best. I really don't want to feel like that, but unfortunately I do. As I get older, I find that my self esteem is a bit highter then it used to be. ( I was a really quiet person, especially in Middle School / High School - didn't have any friends. ) It's getting to the point where I really don't care what others think about me and what matters is what I think of me. And believe you me, I was one of those people who really really cared about what others thought. There are times, I will go out without makeup on, and I feel a little self conscious - but that too is getting better.

It all boils down to feeling good about yourself, knowing you feel good, and having self confidence in your own natural beauty. We're being taught that we need all this paint and glitter and razzle/ dazzle to be good enough, ladies, but in reality? We're just fine as we are. It's just harder, for some of us, to realize! But we're gettin' there.

Make-up doesn't change who you are--you can plaster on as much make-up as you want, but that doesn't change the fact that you're fat, too skinny, have certain features on your face, etc. Besides, it's much too time-consuming.

In my personal opinion, make-up makes people's faces look worse. For some strange reason that I don't understand, it's like they have to put stuff on their face to make themselves look better in order to feel better, even though they'll remain unchanged on the inside.

I don't think any more or less of people who don't wear make-up.
