I can't use magic

I've purchased both Cura and an offensive spell in Cadoan, tried the spellmaster, gone in a couple normal battles, and given it a few hours.

I can't use magic in battle. Is there something I'm supposed to do first, or is there something working against me? (I think I still have interest problems...)

u have to equip them: Inventory > Spell book (something like that) > then equip them, got it?

Yeah he's right. You'll have to equip it first before you can get in a battle.

LOL dont worry Red, i was scratching my head on that one as well when i bought Cura
