Help Hunting problems

So I was playing through the game tonight and I wanted to beat these two marks since I've accepted both of them.

Now the first is in the Paramina Rift and I'm supposed to assist another hunter from the clan, right? Well, every time that I go to the specific area, I can't find the mark in question. I keep going back, but it's not there. I've checked the Clan Primer numerous times and I just KNOW I'm in the right area.

As for the second, well, it's in the Tchita Uplands. I'm sure it's a Rank VII mark, but I can never remember what it's called. I've searched every area for that and yet I can't find that either. It might be a wyrm or a slithery snake.

Can anyone help me? Would be very much appreciated.

For the Tchita mark, the weather must be cloudy (gray sky). Then just stay in the area, traveling between zones, until you see it. I think it's the big central zone with the buildings.
The Trickster appears in the one central area where the alligator-like monster normally appears. Just zone the place (going back and forth) until it appears. It looks like a big white chocobo.

I think the Trickster appears more often the farther you are in the game, as it did for me. It is very tricky and will only come when the other monsters in the area are defeated. Its strong so be careful.

I think it's random; but you could be right.
When you see either of these powerful marks, immediately equip a Nihopaloa and use a Remedy on the mark; this will load them up with every status ailment they can have. Then be sure to buff up your characters beforehand with Bravery, Faith, and Haste (or Berserk) and let the gambits do the rest. Also be sure to keep the guy who helps you beat the Trickster healed, as he does a very good job beating the sh*t out of it.

If it's the Trickster, you just need to enter and exit the area. The member from the clan will tell you when he's there. He's in the Frozen Brook area.

Enter and exit, simple as that.

As for the one in Tchita if it's Lindwyrm, you get told the wrong area to go to. First of all, find yourself either the Sochen Cave Palace exit, or Phon Coast exit (as these areas are the closest to where the mark will be, saves you time trecking.) Use either of them to enter/exit Tchita until the weather is cloudy (real dark clouds). Then head to the Garden of Life's Circle area, and you'll find him.

It's actually Fafnir I'm searching for. He's supposed to be in the Paramina Rift by Silverflow's End. But each time I'm looking, I can't find him.

I'm also hunting for the Marilith and Deathgaze. I've searched the entire Zertinan Caves for Marilith, but can't find him. As for Deathgaze, well, I keep going on airships and come up with nothing.

Okey doke, here goes:

Marilith:

Enter from the Westersand for this, then go to the Invitation to Heresy area, you'll see places where the sunlight is coming in through the walls, get as close to the walls as you can (where the sunlight pours through) and just stand there for two minutes or so, and he'll pop out out've nowhere the way the other snakes do.

Deathgaze:

You know the kid who gives you the hunt? Talk to him in any aerodome and then fly anywhere, when you land, he'll be in the next aerodome, speak to him again. He'll mention Deathgaze getting closer. Keep repeating this until the byoy says he heard it roar. Then go on one last flight, and Deathgaze will appear.

Fafnir:

To find him you have to follow a set route, so here goes:

Start a Mt Bur Omisace and enter the Parima Rift. The follow this track:

Freezing Gorge -> Head of the Silverflow -> Icebound Flow -> Karydine Glacier -> Silverflow's End.

That's the only way you'll find him.

I had a bit of trouble finding Fafnir as well. I'm almost positive that there has to be a blizzard going on for him to actually appear.

Yeah, there will be a blizzard going on when you reach him, you just have to follow a set path otherwise he won't show up.

It's a pain in the arse. xD
