For me its:

Ultimecia- She was absorbing the entire universe

Exdeath- Merged with the void and was going to end existence

Kefka/Sephiroth- Became the god of magic/Is said to be more powerful than anything else in his world, including Chaos and Omega

Cloud of Darkness- A being meant to destroy the world in case of an imbalance of darkness and light

Kuja- In his trance form he wasted the surface of Terra

Mateus- All the powers of Hell.

Golbez- A very powerful sorcerer, able to flippantly cast spells that have killed even experienced mages.

Jecht- Had the power of Sin.

Garland- Granted the power of the elemental fiends.

Please try to elaborate as to why you rank them in that order

Why is Garland at the bottom of everyone's lists? Personally, I don't know enough about them to give a full list but I know that Garland would NOT be at the bottom and that Sephiroth would NOT be #1. Close to the top definitely, but not 1 (despite what the fans say).

Kuja destroyed an entire planet in minutes. Something no one else in any FF game has done. yet Exdeath, who's best feat is sucking up some towns, gets higher rank than him in many a list. Perplexing.

EXdeath gets ranked higher than Kuja because he merged with the void and is capable of taking out all existence. Glassing a planet isn't exactly impressive compared to causing the universe to cease to exist.

Bear in mind that the planet that Kuja destroyed was a dying planet anyway. It was barren, losing its spirit and on its last legs.

Ex-Death has the capability to destroy not just one world or universe, but all universes in existence. The power he attempted to obtain (and for a while, partially did) was HUGE, much more than any other FF villain has attempted. Had he managed to control it he could have sucked everything into the void.

1# Chaos cuz u hv 2 fite him 3 times and hios combos are really long and hard to dodge
2# Everyone else cuz thy are all bout the same hardness if they are the same lvl

I cnt undrstnd u lyk tis. Plz uz spll chck.
Cloud of Darkness could kick all their asses. The first time you go up against it you could only do 1 damage, no matter how many Boosts you outfitted your Black Belt with, and its Particle Beam wiped out your whole party in one shot. The second time, you had to destroy the 4 elemental crystals in the World of Darkness and free the Warriors of the Dark, who had to sacrifice themselves to lower the power of its Particle beam. Also, to destroy the crystals you had to go up against 4 bosses, each with 99,999 HP. Think that's hard, I haven't even mentioned the Iron Giant.

Please stick to the toic in question and rank them, thread is open for discussion, but would liek to see your list too, ta

1. Cloud of Darkness: Seriously, she existed for the sole purpose of drawing all of creation into the void. That would destroy everything, not just a single world like Kuja or Kefka.

2. Exdeath: He could do the same basic thing as CoD, but it wasn't a power he had naturally. He had to work to aquire it.

3. Kefka: He destroyed the world and then usurped the power of three gods. Stealing power from three gods all at the same time is pretty impressive if you ask me.

4. Kuja: He destroyed all of Terra. The only reason he's not tied with Kefka is because there would be no resistance on Terra. It's not like the Genomes could gather up an army and try to fight back... D:

5. Ultimecia: All she could do was posses other potential sorcerors. She couldn't do the whole "time manipulation" thing without Ellone's help.

6. Sephiroth: When you really think about it, he really didn't accomplish much of anything. He was just a really good swordsman, that's about it. He never wielded massive powers like some of the others did. He couldn't even summon meteor unless he was deep in the bowels of the earth because he needed the energy from the lifestream.

7. Mateus: Yeah... So he rode around in a tornado and managed to survive in Hell. Which may seem somewhat impressive, but he practically never faced you unless he'd spent all of his resources sending his lackeys at you.

8. Golbez: His power wasn't all that great, it was just Zeromus that backed him up and made it seem like it was all his doing.

9. Garland: He was completely dependent on the elemental fiends to revive him over and over. All he accomplished was gaining ability to die over and over again. xD

10. Jecht: He was just a normal dude, he wasn't in control of Sin so it wasn't really even his power.

Obviously if we're talking about Dissidia's gameplay then the makers balanced the characters out, so sadly we'll never see any of them fight like they could in their original games. D:

Sephiroth - because for me he is the most kick ass villain yet with his freakishly long sword
Ultimecia - I just really like using that's all
Cloud of Darkness - she is like a being that came from hell and that is pretty strong
Kuja - well.......self explanatory
Jecht
Exdeath
Kefka
Garland

Why isn't Gabranth on your lists? :) (omg spoilers)
Kuja was awesome to play, mostly because he can "glide" everywhere by just holding X button :wacky: and he also had some kick-ass attacks.
ExDeath had some awesome defensive attacks.... he has some "shields" that you can put up with attack button, and when your opponent hits you, he gets pwnt :awesome:
If you can aim one of Mateus' big-ass bombs on your opponent, they can 1-hit-kill.
And with a little skill, Gabranth can even kill a level 100+ guy. At level 30.

1)Sephiroth
2)Jecht
3)Ultimecia
4)exdeath
5)Gebranth
6)Cloud of Darkness
7)Garland
8)Golbez
9)Kuja

1) Cloud of Darkness
2) Ex-Death and Ultimecia
3) Promathia
4) Kuja
5) Zemus/Zeromus, Kefka, and Sephiroth/Jenova
6) Yu Yevon, using his "armor"(Sin)
7) All the others

Cloud of Darkness because she could have and WOULD have eliminated everything in existence, had she not been stopped

Ex-Death is the runner-up once again, because he actually needed to get the power first

Ultimecia at #3, She could potentially destroy time and space

Kefka swiped the power of the Triad and became a god, but not a power on a universal scale

KUja's real power lay in his manipulative skills, Brahne and Garland were used as means to power and he became a demi-god because of it.

My top 5

1) Cloud of darkness, unmaking creation is pretty powerful. Absolute power you could say, til i kicked her ass.
2) Ultimacia, Trying to distort time is never good.
=3) Kuja and Sephiroth. The end of the world, ditto. one wanted to end the world because he was dying, the other because he thought he was special. both selfish with their use of power.
4)Kefka
