Help How to get the second airship??

I play FF3 with my Ipod, i run all around the map 15 times and i can't understand where does it lie.. On the web i read: it is in the desert, but it isn't! I read: you have to go the the ruines, but this cave is not in the floating world! I read: u need "float" but is it??? I read: u have to download additional content, but i already paid for the whole game :(
The old tree is in his hole, i have been in Caanan and the air ship has been built...but where is it?? :( please reply to me

No :) cause I have never had it!!
I had the first at the very beginning of the game, that have crashed into the stone... Then, i received the usual water ship... But now, i have visited all the villages, i won against the skeleton (i dont remember the name), i visited the king who gave me the time wheel, i went to Kaanan and someone (i do not remember the name now) fabricate the air ship (great ship / invincibile) for me,,,,but where is it! I have never fliew with it..

I'm preeeetty sure the airship is the boat. If you've done everything to get it, just go into the ship and press a button (I don't know how this exactly works on an iPod though, I'm basing this off the DS version) and it turns into an airship.
 
The second airship? I'll just write down how to get them all. :P

(Second airship)
If so,
then you get the second airship by helping the vikings. You have to head to Nepto Temple and defeat the boss, return and get the ship called "Enterprise".

(Third airship)

To get Nautilus, you must beat Garuda in Saronia.

(Fourth Airship)
To get Invincible, its located in the Ancient Ruins. You can only get it after waking Unei.

If you haven't gotten the FIRST airship read this:
You must go directly in the MIDDLE of the desert west of Kazus. You can only get it if you talk to Takka (He's in the house north of the Inn) and Cid (in the Inn, first ghost and closest ghost to the door, standing by bar counter). Once you do that, go the desert and stand at the CENTER of the desert. The screen will turn black and you'll be in the airhship and about to get Refia.

*Assuming the Ipod version is like the others...*

The second airship: i already have it, it is the last WATER ship they had, and they gave it to me.
The fird airship: there is no places called Garuda, neither saronia..
Fourth airship: unei, is he the skeleton...but there are no ruines in my map, the ruins are in the main world, i need the airship to reach it, so i cant understand...
And,,,about the last words u say..it seams like the beginning of the game is it true, when this airship then crash into the stone and gets destroyed..if positive, i had this! this was my first, after ..i get the water ship...and now i need the airship...
 
...no Saronia? Are you sure? Here are the maps for FFIII (Should be the same even in DS/iPod version): 1st map, 2nd map and 3rd map. I believe Saronia is underwater... Unless I seriously need to replay this game. Garuda isn't a place its a monster :)

So, have you met Doga yet? If so, has he enchanted your ship to go underwater? If not, you must get to Doga and help him. Here is a link to a video tutorial at the part where Doga casts the spell. If you are not at that point, follow the previous video parts leading up to 39. I believe you would have to start at 30-33, maybe.

P.S
If you do post back, please tell me how many ships you have and what those ships can do. I can help you better that way since I'm still not sure which and how many you have and what you have done thus far in the story.
 
Based on the description, I don't think you've left the Floating Continent yet, so ignore everything about Saronia, Garuda and Unei because that comes later. If you've defeated Hein the skeleton guy and have more or less completed the Floating Continent, then the Enterprise boat you have SHOULD be able to turn into an airship. In the DS version, a simple button press was all it needed to turn the boat into an airship, and I know that the iPod has no buttons, but there must be some touchscreen function to do that. Have another try, because I see no reason why you aren't able to finally get the airship. =]
