how do i record ffxii from my TV i have seen many people taken them right from the tv and not using camera
 
Hmm, you can try using a cell phone...if your phone is capable of recording stuff. I think that's the easiest way.
 
no i mean without having anything in front of your screen like the people who made trailers
 
Well you must have DVD recorder, that way you can record it into DVD recorder's hard disk and then record it on DVD/CD.
 
I'm gonna move this to the help booth incase more general people want tochip in instead of just FFXII seekers. I'm sort of interested in trying this as well, but I doubt I have the right equipment to make it happen.

Yea, Danijel pretty much said it. You have to either have a VCR or DVD player that can record stuff. Then, you have to set it so that the PS2's cables lead into your DVD/VCR's input. Then you get a separate pair of cables that you lead from it's output to your TV's input so you can see what you're recording. I can explain it in severely simple terms if you need it
