Which is the better song...in your opinion? I'm a bit curious, for I think Hotel California is the superior song.

There is nooooooo comparison in my mind. So yeah, I vote Stairway.
 
Hotel California, definitely. My brother plays that song on his acoustic guitar, while I sing it.

And no, it doesn't ruin the song, thank you very much. ^_^

Anyway, there's a meaning behind that song...just can't really figure it out yet. Or maybe I'm getting delusional.

i can play both these songs on guitar. They are both brilliant but hotel california wins hands down, i love this song, im a big eagles fan. The intro on hotel california is so clever

I've been a big Zeppelin fan for a time now, and while Hotel is in itself a good song...I don't know, I just think there is no comparison whatsoever.

Honestly both songs are great. I like Hotel California for its vocal tones. However Stairway to Heaven is a song that will never die.
 
Stairway to Heaven is sooo.. overdone. If you play guitar, it's automatic that you learn Stairway to Heaven. It gets old =/

Anyway, yeah I can play both songs on guitar aswell, from a musicians perspective I can say that Stairway to Heaven is without a doubt the better song, Hotel California only just phails in comparison to the awesomeness that is Led Zeppelin ^_^

i actually learned stairway to heaven a hell of a lot quicker than hotel california, i guess i prefer hotel california better cuz i find the guitar melodies so well thought out every note opens up the next one perfectly, stairway of heaven really picks up at the guitar solo though:cool:
