Suburbs for me. It's not "too" busy, but it's close enough where you can get to wherever you need to go, and it shouldn't be a hassle.

Urban, most definitely. I love city life. And people don't seem to understand that city life comes in varieties too. I couldn't live in a NYC or LA... but a Charlotte, definitely

I live in the suburbs...sorta. Houses aren't that close to each other. There are strips of trees and bushes surrounding each house. I also live an hour from NYC.

Martha Stewart lives near me. T_T

Having lived in London all my life, and fairly close to the centre, I am now used to living in an urban setting. I don't think I'd want to live anywhere else really. Certainly not rural areas anyway, I'd go nuts.

I've lived in rural, urban, and suburb and I like all of them. I got to experience the difference between the three, and frankly, if I have to choose only one, then that would be suburb. Not too overwhelming like the urban life, and not too quiet like the rural (although I do love quiet places as it's serene and tends to make me feel more relaxed.)

With suburb, you can actually get to know your neighbors more. The grocery centers are near you and more convenient for everybody else.

Actually, it'd be better to just simply say that I would like buy 3 houses, one for each type of location. But that's just my "dreams" talking, of course. If that happens though, I would be extremely happy.

I have lived in all of them. For my kids I say Suburbs. Everyone knows everyone and its still close to the real world. So thats what I voted.

If I had no kids I would live in the big city. I grew up a street rat and I am comfortable there.

**Method man sings** "Yeah baby I like it raw, you know I like it Raaaaw!!"

Sorry those lyrics just come to mind when thinking about big city life.

I tried living in rural areas, but it failed me drastically. Although I did have fun riding on the...erm, 'water buffaloes' much. And going to rural resorts is quite the luxury as well.

But being in an urban setting, as Aztec said, comes in many different ways.
I've lived in a pretty dam big city, {Manila} and then visited San Diego. Obviously different aesthetics, but still, different vibe.
It's all about preferences when it comes to cities too.

Oh, and P.S. I like the way the middle option is rising up. :P
