Hello everyone. New here, thought I might as well introduce myself

I've been online since the mid 2000s and i've gone by many different usernames, though Failed Focus is my preferred one now. On the note of being online forever, I used to frequent a lot of FF forums, FF Shrine being the main one. I was sad to see that go.

Final Fantasy is probably the game series that has had the most influence and inspiration for me. It pushed me into doing a lot of things in life; I've been an amateur game developer, a writer and I used to work in Games QA Testing. Now i'm trying to get back into writing and content creation after a long time, and re-joining the online community after other things in life pulled me away.

Welcome to the forums! We're definitely not as active as we used to be anymore back when forums were very popular. Regardless, I hope you enjoy your time here!

Oh I have no doubt things are much quieter around here now, the days of forums being active is something I look back on fondly but don't expect to be coming back. Still, I find myself more comfortable in a quieter, more personal environment like this sometimes. On other social media things sometimes move too fast for my liking, maybe i'm getting old haha
