Hey does someone know the name of the guy of final fantasy versus XIII?

I saw a pic that shows a battle scene from XIII. The name "Lightning" could have been a spell in the attack chain, but people thought that was her name cuz it also looks it could be a name for a character.

as for the hot FFVXIII guy, I don't know.

They seem to love weather related names. Cloud, Squall, Lightning, Storm...
 
Last time FFXIII info was given by Nomura, he said that the name he gives the Prince may just be a surname. It was also stated that the next time FFXIII info is released, that he was going to tell us the character's name.

Some people are already calling him Storm, so I wouldn't be surprised if Nomura just went ahead with that.
 
Apparently Nomura wants to end the trend calling the main characters weather names and that if he did call the FFvXIII character a weather name it would only be because the FFXIII team calling the main character 'Lightning'...and also 'The Prince/'Storm's' (whatever you want to call him) clothes are likely to be changed.

he has been reffered to as hero (but i know for a fact that that will NEVER be his name) and also i have heard cloud (also NEVER)
no one really knows for sure because it hasent been released to us yet.

zack i agree with surname because it is more japanese (im sorry if it sounds bad or anything but its were the game is created) and storm is kind of dumb (sorry again)

I don't know who told me this or what website i got this off of, but ithink it might be Ash (i know its like Princess Ashe off of FF12 but that's what i heard) and i also heard that the main character in ff 13 name is lightning.
 
Slightly off the main character in ff13 name isn't lightning her code name is because she appraently dosn't now her real name.

Also the guy in ff13 versus name is planned to realised on the games realise date and not a day before(well so they say). I would also like to point out that the guy in versus his eyes don't change colour when hes summoning different weapons but when hes using his weapons his eyes turn red.
 
I heard that Storm could quite possibly the name. Doesn't seem like a very good name if you ask me:/
 
I wouldn't really care if his name is Storm, after all, it's just a name, not something capable of ruining the game.

First of all obviously something is wrong with me cause im the only person who doesn't think storm is a gay name.. I prefer something else but im not going to lose skin off my behind if SE decides to name him that.

Also correct me if im wrong, but isn't the song in the trailer called "Somnus"? Therefore thats where people could have gotten confused thinking that was his name..

and I wish I can remember where I was reading this and all the details in it but the early restricted to media trailers was slightly different then the one released to the public. The big difference was that they added the aerial scene. Another difference that is relevant to this thread was that they edited a part where you can see "The Prince" In the Car watching TV. In This Scene his name was mentioned and the writer of this said that when he was watching it the name mentioned was something starting with a "V" .. Im assuming it was a Japanese trailer and i can't remember if it was subtitled, or spoken.

I would also like to point out that Nomura who designed the character confirmed his name has something to do with latin.

I Don't know how credible this is but its a hell of a lot better than cloud.. like come one... Can't wait to hear all you groovy dudes of FFF think :)

I would sort of dislike the main character being called Storm...considering it is more of a woman's name rather than a mans. I reckon it could be revealed in this year's E3 conference considering no news has been released lately concerning Versus XIII...or XIII generally.
 
There's an X Men character named Storm and therefore there may be other female fictional characters with the same name, and probably no male ones.

His name is not storm... two reasons why.. i refuse to repeat them so back track 1 page back to my post
 
Your making a big statement by saying his name is NOT Storm, he might be and might not be...all you've given us is a statement without a source, hardly reliable. I don't know why anyone would get Storm from Somnus though.

Therefore, until it's announced he can be called The Prince/Nomura's unoriginal idea/Storm or whatever else you want him to be called :monster:
 
Hmm... Storm sounds like a feasible name because they already have someone named Lightning, maybe there's a connection. Anyway, we shouldn't argue how the guy is going to be named, it's the FFXIII as a whole that matters and not the name.
 
My claims have a lot more substance than the theory of his name being storm.. first of all If you research some what you would already know that Nomura has indeed confirmed his name has something to do with latin.. So i am not completely without source.. i would link you but im on my psp. Also the only reason the name storm has been going around is based on his apperance.. smokey dark hair with blue tint/highlight.
The only reason you think his name is Storm is because its a popular rumor, its upsetting that alot of fans are getting misinformation about this. Bottom Line is there is absolutely no proof his name is storm and there is FACTUAL evidence to prove it is not as well. I think Nomura's word counts for something..

So you're saying that because the X Men character Storm is female the name Storm can only ever be used for ficticious female characters and never male ones?

I'm struggling to fully understand your statement. Enlighten me.
